rpg maker xp and vx netless activation v.2

Update:
4/17/10
fixed the .reg file to make it work the right way and trick the program
fixed in v.2
credit:
k9inpoop (me)
Fantasist for finding out that it did not work fully

these are .reg files that basically bypasses the error "can't get serial from ntitle sever"
and makes it possible for you to activate the program(s) when you open the program up.

How to Make it work:

first:
add the .reg file that you downloaded to the registry of your computer. (double Click the file and click "yes")

Second:
open up the rpg maker that this file is for then click " Enter Activation Code"
then either use your activation key or a keygen for it and after you put the activation
key in it should say "thank you for buying it" or Some thing like that.

Third:
Have fun!

Does this still require you to obtain the keygen? Because you know, having public links of stuff like this is a gigantic no-no. Regardless, this is extremely helpful for those who can't get on the Internet with their RPG Makers. :3

What's osu!? It's a rhythm game. Thought I should have a signature with a working rank. ;P It's now clickable!
Still Aqua's biggest fan (Or am I?).

k9inpoop

no you don't NEED the keygen if you bought the game legally

Calintz

Hmm...
Kinda similar to a crack or something?

k9inpoop

it just makes the program think that you where online and got the serial key for ntitles and used up the 30-day trial and now they need to activate it

powers up!

This is helpful. I'm going to use this for my friend if I can ever get him into rpg maker.

sorry about that don't know what to tell you but if you have one that is on vista then open up regedit and go to hkey_current_user\software\Protexis\Licenses\438839465\Trial and extract the reg file there and tell me if that worked

Fantasist

You mean export that registry entry and show it to you? Problem is, there is no such entry. After I applied your reg file, it's there exactly as you would expect, nothing special. I'll still post it though. Boy I hope this works for Vista too.

No no, it's got nothing to do with that thread... Oh well, I reinstalled Windows on my desktop and I'm trying this now. btw, along with hosting the files, you could just post the contents in code tags and describe the instructions:

1. Copy the text in the code box
2. Open notepad and paste the code
3. Click File->Save As... and save with the extension ".reg". Example:
RMXP Netless Activation.reg

EDIT:

I hate to break this to you, but it doesn't work. I've done some research and I think I found the problem. Your file only provides a part of what is needed. Here are your file's contents:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Protexis\Licenses\438839465\Trial]
"Terms"=hex:1d,34,97,1b,8e,d8,1d,d8,3d,ff,be,ef,9e,61,d8,84,4f,46,e4,06,d3,fe,\
  86,73,3d,dd,9a,a1,2d

The "Terms" part is different, but the point is the other stuff above the last two lines in my file (which are the only lines in your file).

Spoiler: ShowHide
I also noticed that running my registry patch resets the trial o.o

I'll have to install the VX trial for that... Oh well, fine, I'll do it.

Sorry, I can't. I'll guide you through the process if you want.
