I don't think Flash 9 supports PowerPC, try downloading an older version that does or switch to Leopard (it's the only Intel version I think that you can get easily; Tiger has an Intel version, but it only came with new Macs)

Wow, I was off. Apparently, Flash 9 was PPC only at the beginning. Odd. You should still get Leopard running and leave PearPC behind (I imagine that's what you're running, but I could be wrong -- G4, mebe?)
