Music for the ARC RTP

This is the topic for discussing music that's going into the RTP.
If you upload a song to the RTP drop box, create and mp3 or ogg of it, upload that to a hosting site and post the link here. I'll edit the links into this post.

Specifications:
Music submitted to the RTP needs to be high quality flac.
Music on the thread can be an mp3 or ogg... Or any file that is easily read by Mr average without the need of a specialised codec.
Music must loop seamlessly.

Here's a list of what an RTP needs (I will add to this):

Unless you want to, I'd be content with writing title, battle and boss music. I'd be more than happy to offer more music provided I have the time.
In fact, I've already written one and a half battle pieces. If you want to see some of my work, just ask.

Blizzard

As I already said earlier, we will gladly accept your music. :)

Sorry, I keep being cautious.
I'm also about to upload the new and improved battle theme I wrote. Now with more beat.
Also, are we doing this freelance-like or assigning things to people? I know that I work better with a deadline to meet. Just something to take into consideration.

Ryex

as far as we are concerned it's freelance, but nothing is stopping someone else from setting up a plan for completing everything in side a reasonable time period. assuming of course that anyone would follow said plan.
I no longer keep up with posts in the forum very well. If you have a question or comment, about my work, or in general I welcome PM's. if you make a post in one of my threads and I don't reply with in a day or two feel free to PM me and point it out to me.

DropBox, the best free file syncing service there is.
I think that you should just do anything you feel like doing that needs to be in the RTP and we can put everything in there.
Later on we can decide what to keep and what we don't want.

Basically, don't 'reserve' a type of music, just do it. :)

AngryPacman

Alrighty, although I will focus mainly on those things I mentioned because I find them easier to write.

Also, try and keep the audio quality consistent. If you have issues with sound production I can help.

AngryPacman

I'm quite fine with that stuff. Only problem I do have is getting things into flac format.
Thanks for the offer.

MetalRenard

Upload a .wav lossless file and I can do the rest.

AngryPacman

I'll do that tomorrow. Getting late, schoolnight etcetera...

Subsonic_Noise

I might contribute to the music, too. Any specific style?

Blizzard

Classic and Ambient is probably the way to go since we want to keep the medieval feeling. Possibly Breakbeat with fewer electronic elements.

This is more of a jingle, like when Link finds an object in Zelda?
This one is for a royal entrance:

It's meant to be played just once.

Holyrapid

I want to recommend somebody for this, though i don't know if he'll accept or want to be any part of this, but still.
I give you Dasgust

MetalRenard

He does some intersting stuff, why not? :)
Make sure it's specified he needs to do orchestral stuff and not electronic stuff though.

The only issue I see is with the production, but that's partly due to the youtube video/audio quality.

I'll leave it to a project manager to contact him.

MetalRenard

Please delete this thread and create another in its place since I am leaving the project as I am unhappy with the terms.

Good luck guys, no harm done. :)

Blizzard

Somebody else please make a new thread. I have removed all the links.
