I can do the enemies, first(?) boss, and optional hidden mini-boss.

I assume, volcanic (fire) type, as well as normal type enemies will be needed.

This shouldn't take long, but I'll wait to start until some further input is provided.

Just throw me some general guidelines, I'll crank something out, and the team can tweak it as needed.

EDIT: As for the title screen, I think we don't exactly need the finalized version as the way we described it in its thread. That would be complex, I feel we should focus on something less grand for the demo.

  • William Character Sprite

On it. Any others or will we just be using rtplaceholders?

There are many RTP chars that I haven't seen used all that commonly.

The checklist is of things that we absolutely need.  Everything else is optional, as well as monster sprites (with corresponding battlers), and extra npc sprites (priests, cultists, etc.)

Alright, I'll get William done, then look at what else I can do.

As for single face graphics, can we use this?

I'd rather have hatsamu (or someone else) draw them in a more unique and detailed style so that they don't stick out so much from the rest of the graphics.  Although if other people want to use facemaker, I'll defer to the majority.

Oh right haha, I forgot we have our own artistic dept. ;)

I've been a little distanced lately, but now that I have internet back I'm trying to reintegrate into the "society".

Just to keep updated on the enemy database, I have 8 different kinds of normal enemies right now.

They are all variations of the bee. (Currently)

For instance, freezy bee is ice type, so ice heals him and fire does double.

Expertise bee is much tougher, with higher attack defense and health.

Diseasy bee can poison you, leechy bee can heal his team, and so on and so forth.

Is this a good start, bad start, what?

Good job on using the types (fire and ice, etc.), and diversifying (magic, status, and physical), as they help to integrate more strategy.  I would try to only have one or two of each type of enemy (preferably one) and just have more varied enemies.  Just a picture and name change is all I'm talking about, so it's not so repetitive.

But I was having so much fun coming up with rhyming words for bees. :P

Sounds good I'll do that on the 'morrow.

I am happy to announce the successful merger of your download with my maps/database.

I managed to preserve everything including format, and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be ha...

Okay, sorry for the delay, but I'm back at work.  Going to finish the titanium system and then finish off the rest of the scripting so that we have a stable base to start creating gameplay.

Sorry I haven't been on the past couple days.

I'm working on the corruption zone, but I'm still not sure if its what we want it to be.

I'll post when it's a little more polished and if everything looks good we can continue with that style.

EDIT: Astrally Trancists.

Sorry, I've had that done for ages and completely forgot about uploading it. But since I'm moving on from rmxp, I will probably not be doing much more spriting. I'll help out with whip-wielding if you like and I'll contribute the odd sprite because compared to 3d, spriting will be so damn easy.

Honestly, I'm still not happy with it.  But I'm thinking of pushing back the demo deadline, because I don't want to half-ass it, and there are more systems and graphics than I realized that we need for it.
