What it is:
Decisive Media is the place to talk about all things, well... media, plus more.
It can be a lot of things, from video games, to music... all the way to how filthy a patch of mud is on a planet in another galaxy.
What I am saying, is you can discuss pretty much whatever you want.
Our services:
· Message Boards:
The heart of the website, the message board(or forum). Discuss anything you want here, and make friends.
· Media Section:
The media section is a place where you can upload various forms of media to share with all.
· Arcade Plaza:
The Arcade Plaza is a place where you can play games for fun, or sport. Beat someone's score, or
start a tournament and and see who comes out top-dog in the final round. The choice is all yours, friend.
· Community Blog:
The Community Blog is where you can write your very own blogs, which if approved, will be on the blog page for all to see.
· Achievements:
You can earn Achievements on Decisive Media much like you do in console games of today, which give you instant
bragging rights. Get an achievement for becoming an arcade champion, getting a blog approved, or many other neat things.
You even get an achievement for just registering for Decisive Media. Pretty cool, right?
· Cybele Resource Database:
The Cybele Resource Database contains resources for many game engines, that can be used for your very own project.
If you register, you gain the ability to upload your own resources to share with all. And then comes recognition!
· Personal Notepad:
The Personal Notepad is a handy place for you to write and store notes, for future reference.
Got an idea for a topic but no time to post? Make a note of it, so you will not forget. Notes for that, and whatever you'd like.

All of this, and possibly more, at Decisive Media! Why not stop by and join the growing community?
This is one membership you will definitely not regret, and we look forward to having you as a part of the community. :)

Thanks, you two. All I really have to do now is finish fixing up the theme and add the last boards, and some more content, and I can add some people as beta testers to see if they can help scout out final bugs.

*coughs* You two are lookin' good. *coughs* Other forumers here, too... *coughs*

Yes, I will. ;)

EDIT:
Well, as far as theme tweaking and such goes, I am just about done. Now, when I wake up, I will add in the rest of the starter-content.

Guys, I think I am now ready to take in people who'd like to help test.
So, whenever you'd like, I'll register your accounts for you. :)

I think we're done with beta testing. DM will be ready to open soon. (If not already)

EDIT: Its open, or I think so anyways. I'm logged out and I'm not getting the Under Maintenance message.

Legal double post. In hopes to bring uniqueness to our forums and maybe bring a couple of more people, I've spent the last few days coding our very own achievements system. While achievements themselves are overused and cliche, I don't see too many forums with an achievements system like ours (if any). If you would like to learn more about the system you can read here.

Here's the main achievements page. Here you can search through our members and see what achievements everyone has.

I am bumping this topic now that it has a proper ad on the first post. :)

PhoenixFire

The site really has shaped up alot in the time I've been registered on it. Also, I think the more people look at it, the more they realize how awesome it is. I mean, even my forum doesn't have an arcade yet :/ or Cybele, and I haven't quite figured out how to put in some of the mods I have for it yet. But DM is looking amazing so far. I can't wait til we have more people to help spice up the conversations..

Decisive Media is down. One simple reason, we're not allowed to exceed 300 MB in our MySql databases. Apparently, SMF has logged 800 MB worth of errors into our database since the birth of Decisive Media on December 2010. How the number of errors, plain text basically, reached over 800 MB is beyond me.

ForeverZer0

Ouch...

Can't you just delete them?

G_G

Decisive Media is back up, its functional for the most part, we ask if you see any strange errors, please report them so I can fix them quickly. I am already aware of the aware Cybele is getting and its being worked on.

G_G

Okay so Branden and I both got tired of the constant errors DM has been going through. We're going to upgrade to SMF 2.0. Don't worry, the important mods are still in tact, the media gallery and arcade along with Simple Portal. I'll have to rework Cybele and the Achievements system however. We do have one issue with the arcade, we don't have any of the highscores. We have to reupload all of the games again and setup all of the categories and whatnot. But hopefully this will solve all of the scores not submitting issues.

PhoenixFire

yanno, that makes sense, since I just tried to log on there and it gave me an error of 'cannot load above_main'

And we're back up. We have all of our members, posts, topics, arcade games, media uploads, and achievements data. What we lost is the arcade highscores, most of the arcade settings, most of the achievement images. Cybele still functions perfectly. We have not ran into a single error. We've managed to update the most important mods needed for our forums. We've revamped most of the forum and we'll be doing minor things here and there. The important thing is that we're back and everything is still intact. The update to SMF 2.0 was not a mistake. :3 Thanks for the patience guys.

Also, Twb, sorry about you losing those 23-24 championships. But as far as we can tell, the arcade is submitting scores just fine.
