Want to learn the basics of Artificial Intelligence through an online course taught by top American professors for free?

http://www.ai-class.com/

I myself signed up for it, but I'm not committing too hard to it, because I have other work to do. With over 50,000 online students already, it's not like there's a ton of pressure to do well or be singled out.

AI is not what most people think. ._. I had an AI class in college and it was completely not what I expected.

AI is supposed to be the hardest thing to program. I watch the intro video for it thinking That I might be able to do it but once he said "10 hours a week" I knew I wouldn't have time. too bad really I would of liked to know the truth behind AI because I know it's not as complicated as it might seem, It's an abstraction after all. any chance that you could Archive the lesions so that I could perhaps go over then over the course of a year and learn in my free time? I've no idea what kind of system they are setting up or what kind of agreement they make you sign when you sign up so if it's not supported to be shared just say so. but it would be cool if you could.
I no longer keep up with posts in the forum very well. If you have a question or comment, about my work, or in general I welcome PM's. if you make a post in one of my threads and I don't reply with in a day or two feel free to PM me and point it out to me.

DropBox, the best free file syncing service there is.
In our AI class we were working with propositional logic, predicate logic and a little bit of fuzzy logic. We learned the arithmetic of logical operations and stuff like that. That was 50% of the class. The other things were neural networks, genetic algorithms and some other misc minor stuff. As I said, in the end you realize that AI sounds very cool, but it's not even closely as cool. Sure, it's alright, but it's not what people think.
