I finished it

On to the extra quests!  (see you guys in a few months :V )

Blizzard

I do the main quest with side quests parallelly. I'm level 20 now, got 5 dragons and the last thing I did in the main quest is to climb up the 7000 steps. And I'm not planning on continuing it for now.

God, that game sounds awesome... Well, I might just buy it when I've finished playing TLOZ: SS.

EDIT: I'm not really much of a side-quest guy. Is there enough content in the main storyline? Or are the side-quests really tempting?

Blizzard

There are major side quest groups (e.g. the side quests for the "guilds" or city related quests) that have their own storyline. It may not be as epic as the main storyline, but they're still interesting and intriguing.

Yesterday I had a D-Day....Off (am I pronouncing that correctly?) and I spent it playing Skyrim.

The permanent solution for your problem would be to stop hanging out with stupid people.

legacyblade

I dunno. The dark brotherhood storyline is pretty dang epic. But I haven't done much on the main quest (I like to wait till I'm a higher level so it's more challenging and gives better loot. I hate when the blade of woe is stronger than the sword of main quest reward :P)

Blizzard

I'm in the middle of the Companion side quest and the Magic College side quest. Companions don't seem too epic so far, but the Magic College storyline seems pretty good. o.o You have political conspiracies, ancient magic stuff and somebody who messed a bit too much around with summoning creatures from Oblivion. o.o;

The Companions are good once you get to become a WEREWOLF. DarkBrotherhood is always fun...

Did you join imperials or stormcloaks? And wait 'til you start finding Blood babies and Frost childs. Those dragons are hard, blood babies because they'll use both fire and ice, and frost dragons because even through my nord 50% frost damage reduction, one concentrated wave of ice blast from one did over 100 damage to me.

I have 400 health. @--@

Blizzard

I already got the werewolf. Currently I come across Blood Dragons, but they don't seem too tough either and I have only around 250 health so far. Well, I combine one-handed weapons with destruction magic and heavy armor (currently mostly Steel Plate with a bit of Dwarven) so that might be it. :=

Are you smithing? Also, I don't have any method of attacking at range, so I find dragons fairly... not challenging or difficult exactly, but they're fun. Although because of smithing my axes are both at 90 damage (dual wielding war axes YEAH) so power attacks from me destroys EVERYTHING. I tend to avoid power attacking because it's so much more fun to just be ATTACK!!!! and take all 10 enemies attacks.

I also fought two dragons at once, one time. It was -hard-.

Blood Dragons aren't much, no. Frost and Elder Dragons are far tougher, though. Also, I have Glass Armor, over 500 defense. @--@

Blizzard

Of course I'm smithing. <3 I made myself a few items today that increase my smithing capabilities together over 50%. I love to combine smithing with enchanting. You can get some crazy shit stuff together. And I made my first piece of epic armor. <3 Is there any stronger than epic? Until epic I thought flawless was the best.

I also killed my first Frost Dragon today. It wasn't difficult either. I guess because I have another 3 pieces of armor that grant me over 60% additional one-handed damage together helps here a lot. Plus obviously I have a full orcish armor set that is smithed up to at least flawless. I guess I was doing just the right things during level ups to keep the game difficulty manageable. But basically when the dragon lands, he's as good as dead. I just go a bit to the side and keep attacking its wing until it dies.

It goes up until Legendary. You can oversmith things to a ridiculous degree, in fact. Each one handed weapon you wield can get up to 120 BONUS damage added on top of its normal damage and then filtered through everything.

Basically you can a 6.3blah multiplier added to your smithing ability for improving things. Essentially give you a smithing level of 635 or so for improving weaponry.

It's ridiculous. @--@

same for enchanting. Requires a lot of work and some alchemy to make it work though.

legacyblade

Now that I know how overpowered smithing is, I would have worked on that in addition to enchanting, lol. Enchanting already makes me and my companions overpowered enough (Every one our weapons has extra shock damage made from a grand soul gem. And since I'm also a thief, I steal A LOT of soul gems to recharge stuff with. Even though I have almost no one-handed weapon skill, my dagger does more than my destruction magic, even though I have a high level in destruction, lol)

Vell

There's some enchantments you can find that increase your sneak damage done. You can get some ridiculous sneak bonuses, with perks and enchantments. Do enough to poke an enemy dead in one hit all sneakylike.

Subsonic_Noise

I have 3 or 4 items enchanted with grand soul gems, adding to one-handed combat, and an improved mace that also does fire damage... a normal npc dies with around 4 hits, a guard needs 10 at max. :P

Blizzard

I have 3 one-handed enchantments altogether over 9000% now. <3 I also found some necklace that offered me 15% better prices. I disenchanted it and made myself another necklace with first 21% and later 23% better prices. The merchants don't have enough money to buy off that shit off me so I usually just take their grand soul gems in exchange or other stuff, lol.
