Abstract- *1000 years ago, Old Japan was bound to be swallowed by eternal darkness of the unseen force but yet saved thanks to Izanagi's descendants of that era. 1000 years later, Modern Japan, the same forces are acting again to create malice and try to continue the plan of eternal darkness. Can Izanagi's descendant's be able to stop the incoming danger?

*Delinquent, cheerful, stupid. After growing up with just having cousins, caring grandparents and a mysterious family past, "You" ( you will be naming the Main Protagonist - SMT Style ) has lived being just an ordinary high school student at Tokyo along with her cousin, Tsubashi Shiori. But after a strange day of having encountered a couple of un-world creatures, a self-centered woman named Ruukia Kaede and a card showing the portrait of a Goddess named Amaterasu, you will be placed in a dark quest of saving Japan as well as the World against a Mysterious Organization as you uncover the past about your own identity that dated back to the history of Japan up to the beginning of everything ...

The setting of this game is bound from Modern Day Japan to Japan's Historical Places up
to Shinto Religion's Sacred Places.

The places where the Main Protagonist goes can be determined by actions of the player in choices shown in the game progress.

Modern Day Japan :
*Tokyo, Japan - The main area of the game. The place where the Main Protagonist grew up along with his
relatives from childhood. Major sites in Tokyo, Japan will be shown ( Omotesando, Ebisu, etc. )
*Mount Fuji - Mt. Fuji itself. The place where the bridge to Heaven lies.
*Nagasaki, Japan - Tokane Aya's hometown and a one of the major keypoints of the game.

Historical Japan :
*Old Japan - Japan before the rule of Emperor Jimmu. During this time, Kami's are widely living alongside mortals.
The era where the old heroes, the descendants of Izanagi lived.
*Old Mt. Fuji - Mt. Fuji during the time when mortals are allowed to see the Sakura, a prophet chosen by Susanoo
living at the peak.

Shinto Religion's Sacred Places :
*Takamagahara - also known as Heaven. The place where the God's rests and watches the world. The place
where Amaterasu rests in the Night, and Tsukuyomi rests in the Day.
*Ama-no Uki Hashi - the bridge connecting Earth and Heaven. Located at the peak of Mt. Fuji.
A sacred passage must be trekked and travel in order to find the bridge and only chosen and special mortals are allowed
to enter in which one condition must be accepted, they can no longer return to the mortal world.
*Yomi - the land of the dead. The place where the Goddess Izanami lies, sealed by Izanagi but been
opened at the era of the Main Protagonist by an unknown force therefore allowing dark creatures to roam in the mortal world.


Characters

*The Main Protagonist - A Happy-go-lucky high school student.
A bit of a delinquent yet good natured at heart. He always likes to slack off and wander throughout Japan to see
something he hasn't seen yet.
Further personality will be developed in-game by choices of the player in different scenarios.

*Tsubashi Shiori - The main protagonists cousin. A highly extra-curricular fanatic.
Always ignores the main protagonist in alot of aspect but has an important order to fulfill by the prophecy that
the main protagonist must not know until the right time.

*Ruukia Kaede - A girl at her 20's, Kaede escaped from a mysterious lab
at Nagasaki and was on pursuit by un-worldy creatures until meeting the main protagonist. Which when the fate of
the Main Protagonist is shown and told by the spirit of the Katana.
Loves streetfighting and never leaves without his handy tonfa.

Gender : Female


*Tokane Aya - A transfer student from Nagasaki and later befriended the
main protagonist. She has somewhat a quiet nature but has a role in the days to come.
Likes the main protagonist in manner of infatuation.
Age : 17
Gender : Female


*Otomi Himura - The greatest slasher of the Old Japan. A descendant of Amaterasu.
One of the three warriors who sacrificed their living breath in order to save the Sakura.
Silent but loves bloodshed. Connection to the main protagonist will be revealed in-game.
Age : 27
Gender : Male


*Nidachi Izuna - Designed and invented the first gunpowder based weapon.
The sole survivor of the Sakura Incident of the Old Japan. And never been found the
day after the incident.
Age : 25
Gender : Male


*Furukawa Raijin - Named after the God of Thunder, Raijin is a roaming mercenary surviving
by hunting different kinds of targets including mortals. One of the three warriors who sacrificed
their lives with Otomi.
Age : 26
Gender Male


*Abelial - The estranged lancer. Nothing much is known about him except his name. Has the power
of calling the Gods and even reincarnating and trapping souls. Swift and cunnning.
Age : Unknown
Gender : Unknown

Features
Enu Tankentai SBS with Gravity Corp. Enemy Sprites.
Battle System: ShowHide
The battle system used in this game is the Atoa Conversion of Enu's SBS. Though it supports animated battlers using character graphics, I decided to use none animated battlers and so I used Gravity Corps Ragnarok Online Monster Sprites. ( See Screenshots for details)

Card Summon System.
Card System Explanation: ShowHide
Another add-on to the battle system is the Card Summon/Skill System. In Six Year Sakura : Forgotten Memories, the player has the option to collect 150 Cards that shows graphics of different Dieties, mostly from Shinto Religion. So if you don't know Shinto, I suggest you start reading wikipedia, or google it or something. Below are some cards used, though they are not finalized. If the player equipped cards, the equipped character will gain a special skill ( like a Limit or Overdrive ) that can be used after a set of turns. Also, the said character will gain skills or spells that is in-line with the affinity of the said card (e.g Amaterasu, Goddess of Sky And Sun when equipped gains the player the skills of Light to Light3 and some complement skills), the system will be further improved.

School Simulation System and Day/Night System.
School Simulation System/Day And Night System Explanation: ShowHide
Six Year Sakura : Forgotten Memories includes a school simulation system in which the player can achieve points by doing certain tasks that includes curricular, extra-curricular, or story-related tasks.

< Day and Night System >
           Each day is divided into four phase; Morning, Mid-Day, Afternoon and Evening. Each phase automatically progresses but will pause if certain events and key-points are met. Some side-events and story related events happens at different phases.


Multiple Ending Features
Multiple Ending Explanation: ShowHide
The game is planned to have 5 endings in which will be obtained b the player's decision throughout the game. There will be no "Proper Ending" as the endings are subjected to player's references. The endings will be determine by certain story key-points.


NPC Relation System.
NPC Relation System Explanation: ShowHide
In addition to the Day and Night System, a given time is allotted to the player to explore to game thoroughly. During the free time, the player can talk to NPCs as well as PCs found in-game and improve relationships with NPCs and PCs.


Calendar System.
Calendar System Explanation: ShowHide
Another addition to the Day and Night System, the game features a calendar system in which the game's length is determined. The game show certain events on a said day like an unexpected ending or a side quest completion or a story related events.


New Game +
New Game + Explanation: ShowHide
As addition to the Multiple Ending System, a New Game + is included in which the players has the option to continue the game from the beginning if the player has reached an Ending. Data from the first play-through will be transferred in the new game, therefore reducing difficulty.
