Surrounding Lore: Yama-Uba are yokai in japanese folklore. The race may also be spelled as Yamamba or Yamanba. The yama-uba are monsters that take the form of the elderly. They are known for eating people, particularly travellers whom have gotten themselves lost near the Yama-Uba's home. They have the capabilities to shapeshift so as to make capturing their prey easier. They will usually change into the form of their victim's loved ones or a beautiful woman but often they retain the form of an old woman and play the part as a helpless old woman. The yama-uba in Japan are used in the same way as the bogey man. The Yama-Uba was also known for it's skills in Sorcery, Potions and Poisons.
Appearance:Yama-uba looks like an old woman, usually a hideous one. Her unkempt hair is long and golden white, and her kimono (usually red) is filthy and tattered. Her mouth is sometimes said to stretch the entire width of her face, and some depictions give her a second mouth at the top of her head. She is able to change her appearance, though, and she uses this tactic to great success in capturing her victims.

Background: Klara is a being born of people's hatred of the elderly. She had terrorized a town that would cannibalize upon their old, until the townspeople were no more, but she found that she had run out of food and began to move about. She would prey upon travellers to satisfy her hunger and she would usually terrorize towns and cities. On many occasions they have driven her away but this did not stop her from feeding upon other towns. She recently found her way to a small town located just outside of Gilgris. At the moment she terrorizes the small town, eating unsuspecting villagers and travellers.
Personality: She does not have much of a personality due to her existence being only to consume humans. When around other people, her personality is always superficial, not being real. However when alone, she is a dark, decrepit old woman. If to be observed without being seen, one might call her insane. She always hungers for human flesh which may make her a tad impatient but during her "hunt" one would never know that, unless she wanted them to..

Weapon: Although not commonly seen with her, she has a katana that is made with the bones of her victims. Through sorcery, she has made the bones even harder and more durable and extremely sharp.
