This is an interesting/funny/nostaligic video about 2D game history and how it kinda evolved into 3D gaming.

It's an pixelated animation about a video game hero who collects stars and the environment which evolves as he collects more and more stars throughout the video. Can you guess all the games that are being referenced?
I laughed so hard when the villian said "blablablabla- STOP SKIPPING MY DIALOGUE!"

let's see I spotted...

tetris, kirby (first area looks like green greens) the famous sonic loop.
mario (well at least the star)
Zelda (the dungeon cutscene with the bomb trap)
a bit of gradius (exploding mines)
touhou(?) (last mine attempted what I'd like to call bullet hell mode.)
Final Fantasy (dialogue boxes, menus and such)
Konami (for le Konami code).
MVC3 (Deadpool's special where you grab your own life-bar and smack your opponent with it)(I'm not 100% sure about this one)
Rockman Dash (for the remaining 3D animation in the movie, it is very similat to that of the rockman dash games)

aaand.... those are all I can guess.
