Well, this might seem like a rage quit considering what's going on in the shoutbox, but I've been putting this off for a while;
What still keeps me here? I don't use RPG Maker anymore, hell, I'm not even that much into video games at all, I don't get support for my music here,
I have nothing to put into this board and nothing to gain from it, and many members I liked left and were replaced by members I don't really want to be associated with. I still like some members, but I have most of them added on facebook anyway. If you do want to add me, ask Blizzard or Gameus and leave me a message of what your user name is on here, though probably I'll only accept very few.
Concerning Blizzard / Boris, we had our fights, though honestly I felt like that those have been more than a running gag than anything most of the time. To me, anyway. You're cool.
To the new members, I don't have anything against you personally but you're too much like I used to be when I was still annoying for me to associate with you.

So, farewell everybody, but before I leave: Since I'm going professional music-wise, It would be awesome if an admin / mod could help me delete posts / threads assosciated to my music or to me as a person, nothing against this forum but an RPG Maker forum is not the best to come up when potential clients google you.

It's true, though. No need denying it; I haven't touched any game making software in ages, and, for that matter, not even really a video game. I've offered this place my music and my services as a musician / audio engineer, but that went mostly unappreciated lately too, and to be honest: How many of the projects on here are ever going to get finished? It'd be pretty frustrating writing music for projects that never get done.
So yeah, this is not my place anymore. Was a while ago, but this place changed and I did.

Thank you. I'm currently writing the soundtrack for a short movie and will probably write for another one in spring, as well as mixing some music and making beats for a rapper (originally it was two, but one of them was too much of a dickhead about it.)

Well, it died down quickly, and even before that, it was always just the same few people. I appreciate that of course, but it really doesn't hurt to at least listen to it - I got a total of 2 clicks on my EP on Bandcamp from Chaos Project. I don't expect everyone to like it, but people could have at least listened to it.

Well, you're still into game devolopment, so that's one thing, and also everyone in this board hypes everything you do to no extend so you can also use it to advertise your new games and music.. besides the fact that you're the founder of this board. So you still have plenty of reasons to stay here.
So, could you help me get rid of those posts of mine on here? You could just temporarily give me the right to delete my own threads or something.

You are disgusted with other people for their diet.  There are people that steal from, intimidate, and harm other people, and you can't handle those who grill up a steak.  I hope you make an effort to change that some day.

And excessive meat consumption kills and tortures animals, hurts your health pollutes and destroys the environment, wastes our natural resources in incredibly large amounts and by that doesn't only harm all humans, including future generations, but also all lifeforms living with us... it's nice to see that you still can't look beyond your limited horizon and have to pull another strawman ("Hey, because you dislike this type of crime, you totally can't dislike another type of crime, too!") I'm not disgusted at people for their diet (after all, we were all born into this), I'm disgusted at people who have been presented with all the facts and still try to desperately justify it.

"Just keep doing it" is not a reasonable conclusion when something is proven to be unsustainable. I hope you manage to broaden your horizon at some point.

Sorry, but Winkio has throughout this not managed to back up any of his claims with evidence, statistics, or anything really, and has since resorted to pulling argumentative fallacies on me. I'm not saying that my way is the only right one, I'm saying the one winkio is showing isn't the right one - a few other ones that would do good as well would be ovo-lacto-vegetarianism, or simply eating less meat. It's not that difficult of a concept, but seeing no reason to reduce harm is ignorant and narrow-minded.

I'm not leaving because of this discussion. I've listed my reasons in the OP. I'm gaining nothing from this and this place is gaining nothing from me and I don't see how that'd change. So go ahead and delete my account. If you don't want to do that, at least ban me.
By the way, I'd like to remind you two that you're admins of this board and as that shouldn't contribute in derailing a thread to a different topic. This discussion is not what this thread is about. A normal user would have gotten a warning for this, and as such this qualifies as an abuse of admin rights. You're setting a bad example for new users especially since many of them are young and might be looking up to you.

My bad, I mixed up the topics. Though, I don't remember that we kept banning people for making simple mistakes. We are all people and people make mistakes.
And abuse of admin rights includes using admin functionality to cause harm or personal gain. I don't see anything of this happening as all any of us did was post which every member can do.

Well, the point still stands as you are presenting your opinion to be only valid one and that there are no alternatives.
