what the Well actually means because me and valcos were both confused so that means more people were probably confused. So just decalre in your first post Well is a well as in a "wishing well" type well

Alright, I will make sure to clear it up, but I have to ask ...
How in the world can you be confused about the meaning of the word "Well" in the title!?

Interjections like "well" aren't really used when creating a title, unless the writer is in-experienced. You really couldn't tell that I used well as an obvious noun?? If you were to read the title of my game, implying the meaning of the word as you confused it, the name of the game wouldn't even make sense ...

I placed emphasis on "Well" by adding "the" before it which implies of its importance.
Does that clear things up more?? Does it seem more reasonable??

I am working on the light effects for the well right now. These are for when Maltest lures Blake to the well.
I think you guys will like what I do with it.

Edit002:
The lighting effects for the well are finished. It's time to construct the event itself. Give me a couple days, and I will have an update on the status of the well.

I also have to create some small aura balls to use for rising from the well, but that won't take very long at all. Oh, and I have to re-do Blake leaning on the edge of the well and thinking to himself. (A couple of you have seen this) Once I finish these two tasks, I will be able to complete the event. For now, I will use placeholders though.

When I saw the title as "Well in the Woods", I actually thought it meant "well" as in a term of measurement (like "far into").

I prefer the title without the first "The".  I think regardless of what someone might interpret it as, it's snappier.  Besides, part of playing a game is the exploration and discovery, in my opinion. 

If people interpret it as something other than an object, then that's simply one more thing for them to discover.

So I'm gonna dick around with this project some more.
I suppose I won't make any promises, but I would like to dish out a DEMO.

Seeing as my battler spriting ability has increased ten fold since my last try; I think I will finally have the time to incorporate a side view battle system into this project (which what was ultimately holding back the release of the DEMO in the past).

I'll update the main page when I get around to it.

I don't know if you've noticed, but every one of the images you have in the first post (the screenshots and character graphics) display the "this picture has been removed" image. You might wanna fix that.
