Hey, another "small" problem!

So to test this theory of scripts lagging my RMX-OS server, I downloaded Blizzards "Vanilla" RMX-OS server, with no extensions or any extra scripts
and there was NO lag.

I have the "Demo" that MOAL gave me, currently. I took out Blizz-ABS and the controller because it was lagging terribly bad.
Even after I take it out, it still lags. Not quite as bad, but some script somewhere is making it lag.

Here are my current scripts and extensions:
---
*SCRIPTS*

Scene_Debug
-----------------------
(RMX-OS) Options
(RMX-OS) Script
-----------------------
Updater(RMX-OS Versioner)
Jump(Jumping without Blizz-ABS)
-----------------------
-<:::RMX-OS Main:::>-

The reason I know the lag is not being caused by the jumping script is because it lagged just the same before adding it in

*EXTENSIONS*

Updater.rb
Logger.rb

---

If anyone could help, I'd be much appreciated. If you would like to see the lag I am talking about, I will post a download link to my client.

I had planned to post about my server in the projects section after getting this partial-lag fixed.

P.S: Sexy new Code box ;)

Strange, my computer runs RMX-OS very smoothly even with a lot of events on the map. It could just be that your computer can't handle the higher CPU that BABS and such take up. As Blizzard once said, that's what ABSEAL or other Anti-Lag scripts are for, but in RMX-OS's case, you can't even use it.

Try making a new project with just BABS and the way you have the map set up, if there's no lag, then it's maybe that your connection is too slow for RMX-OS itself? Even though I can't see how that's possible, considering it must only take no more bandwidth than browsing the internet.

I would follow all the suggestions here but I would also inspect the PING to your server (also know as the latency, measures the milliseconds it takes a request to a server to receive a response).  a high ping will drastically lag the client. RMX-OS takes VERY little bandwidth, no more than 10-20 KB/s up, even with BABS so that's likely not the issue.
I no longer keep up with posts in the forum very well. I don't quite understand why you guys persist on saying it's my internet....

It's not, it is a script within MOAL's "demo" he gave me.

Blizzards default 1.01 RMX-OS doesn't lag at all.

Ryex

well, what other scripts are in that Demo? your not exactly giving us much to go off here.

Well from the looks of it, I looked at Blizzards 1.01 and MOAL's demo at the same time, and noticed MOAL added more things to the scripts that were already there, and taking out what he added seems to make the server/client error out.

Ryex

again, we cant help unless we know the names and contents of these extra scripts
