Over 20 years ago in the year 1964, THE MAN took the control of The Tower of Eerth.
With a little help from their friends, Kidd and Popp took back The Tower and drove THE MAN to whence they came... but they did not stayed droven... driven? Yeah, I'll go with that. They did not stay driven out. They returned. They came back a couple times, but they never really did much and just got their butts handed to them.
Now, in the year 1989, a new threat has emerged from the depths of space that not only threatens Eerth, but the entire universe.
THE ORDER.
Even THE MAN seems to fear them, who are they? What do they want? Good thing Eerth has John, a minimum wage paper pusher to save them. Can he save them? Can THE ORDER be stopped?

Character Bios: From left to right.
Renoe: Defender of the weak, destroyer of evil. She patrols the mean isles of Good-market picking up any liter that may be unfortunate enough to cross paths with her.
John: Renoe's younger brother. He files papers, sometimes he signs them.
Metil: Some say she's a thief, others say she's a bandit... thought I don't know the difference between the two, if there is one.
Rebecca: A witch in training, born into wealth. She only wishes to bend time and space to her will, nothing big.
Soriyu: A traveler from a far off land, very far off.
Water: Born in the wasteland and hardened in the fires of the post-apocalypse.
Azul: He's not sure where, or when she was born. She thinks she may be a vampire, but that's not even for certain. He goes by Azul, as his original name is lost to time.

Aww wish I could play this but I use RMXP. I love your graphics, they look custom. If you made the graphics then that is sweet.

Sorry for the late feedback, I was quite busy of late.

Anyway, I have to say, the demo is pretty nice. The story is a little bit confusing at first, but I manage to understand the story bit by bit. The battle system can be quite challenging at times as I usually find myself in a pinch. Not bad, I must say. Although I have to say, did you intentionally add those two weapons, Gunthar and Vexnor, in the very beginning of the game? They're quite overpowered and it hurts the experience.

But I'll say this: I love the idea of two dimensions have different graphics/animation, specifically the 'Eerth' and the fantasy world. Kudos for creativity.

I'm looking forward to this game :)

I'm glad I came back, I didn't know anybody had posted in here.

I'm not defending my mistake, but that's what it was, I dun goofed. In the very first iteration of the game, there was a longer sequence before you were knocked out by Jontel. In this time you had time to open your inventory, and see what you had equipped. It wouldn't have made sense for you to open it up and find "Damaged blade" before the battle, so I had the Gunthar there. I later removed that part of the game, making him instantly begin combat with you. 

In the battle with Jontel, when he defeats you he damages the Gunthar. It is then replaced with "Damaged blade".

In all my testing, Gunthar was removed from my inventory so I don't know why everybody who has tested it so far still had it... ~_~
I don't know where I goofed there, but I'm guessing that right before I compiled the demo I changed something that screwed that up.

With the difficulty, I'm trying to make it medium. I don't want the bosses to fall over, and I don't want them to steam roll you. The problem I have with balancing a game (And possible others too) is that I play through any given level so many times, I learn the best strategy to beat the bosses without any trouble.


Also, graphical overhaul in progress. I'm stepping up all the sprites.
