I once made delicious impro food.
To sketch the situation: We are on a music festival for 5 days, and we ran out of water and didn't feel like getting some (there were giant queues) so we came up with the idea to cook in cheap beer.
What we did was cut up potatoes in little chips, cut up unions very roughly and let both marinate in the cheap beer for about an hour or two, in the heat of the sun. Simple, right?
We then cooked them and god it was delicious. I still don't know if it was actually really good or if our standards had dropped because of the festival.
