ya know, my first post doesn't do all that Ive done to this thing justice.
I had to flash a boot loader onto the board,
partition the drive in a hybrid MBR/GPT format,
then install a ARM version of arch linux.
then I went in and wrote rules to get the led's blinking on disk access and network traffic.
then I had to set up swap space.
then the samba and minidlna servers ect.
all via ssh.
I don't care how simple some of this stuff might of been I feel great knowing that I ecentialy set up a Linux server from the ground up on hardware that is 1/3 the size of the 3TB drive it's using
