Allright this is how i thought of this. You just walk on the map like in each normal RPG game. That's the easy part. Next up is the battle system. A transition happens and you see your party and enemies. More in the Style of Minkoff's Animated Battlers. BUT instead of clicking attack and see the player attack, the attack gets isolated (see picture 3) I kinda drew inspiration from Fire Emblem and Shining Force. Where you see a short battle animation with text, too make it look more story like (See picture 5). SO depending on whether you hit or not there are different text options and random ones.

so the battlephase looks like this:

Start -> Attack -> BattleScene -> Text Attack -> Text Hit -> Text Enemy Attack -> Text Enemy Hit -> Back to start.

:o would be awesome if someone could guide me through it.!!!!

here are some Concept-Pictures i have drawn:

What i am looking for is this:

http://moonpearl-gm.blogspot.fr/2012/11/monnpearls-animated-battlers.html

combined with:

http://www.terrariaonline.com/threads/super-fexp-fire-emblem-rmxp.95876/

so basically you start of, side-view battle. you click attack, choose your attack/skill and then check the enemy. than you have a transition like in Fire Emblem where those 2 face off and damage will be calculated. and then back to the side view battle.

thank you :o
