[RESOLVED] Deliver us from high screen resolution.

When I try to load RPG Maker, it says no because I don't have the right SR.  But the lowest it needs makes everything look too tiny!  Does anyone know a way around this?

Oh, sorry about that.  My current res is 800x600.

800x600 resolution is... very very old... and... not very much supported anymore.

The new lowest standard resolution now is 1024x768 and I'm guessing that's the lowest you need for RMXP.

Np, but for future reference always check out mimimum requirements for software BEFORE installing it. And check the forums/FAQs on the site itself for more information that may be useful

If you want, you can switch to RPG Maker VX, which uses the 800x600 resolution. Or simply change your display settings to a higher setting if you can.

    * 256MB of system RAM
    * 800x600 or better video resolution
    * 100MB available hard disk space

    * 512MB of system RAM
    * 1280x1024 or better video resolution

In the meantime, this should be resolved. Put a [RESOLVED] tag right here before "Deliver us from high screen resolution.", unless you don't think it's resolved.
