(ok lol :P I'm have fun)
Quote from: AlexIs that steak Pyro? My favourite, chuck us one here

As Alex is munching around at his steak Pyro, Razor and come up and sit on the benches with Alex
Quote from: PyroSo how long have you guys been mercs

Quote from: RazorLooks like I'll have to answer that Alex is to devoted to his steak...
Razor takes a long look at the hazy moon and than takes a deep breath
Quote from: RazorI've been a merc ever since I reached adulthood I met Alex here when he was 16 on the plains of Africa he's been with me ever since, mercs don't usually have many friends but you could say we've stuck by each other over the years

Razor cuts off as Alex gets up and goes to grab another steak from the camp fire.
Quote from: RazorBut anyway me and him have kept our pasts seperate, I never asked him any questions he never asked me, but anyway what's you and your bands story Pyro?]

(I'll do more later)

Blizzard

(Ok. Usually you can't control "NPCs", but you only made it for some story about it, so I'd say it's ok, since you DO have some little neutral control over the environment. My point is that Alex could have said that as well.)

(yeah, :P sorry I wanted to get the feel that all Alex is concentrated on is his food and he doesn't really want to associate with mutants too much)

it was then night, and with night, came cooler temperatures in the desert, so L3X was able to move through the desert, and arrive at a sheltered area, near the facility, before morning struck.

Blizzard

Quote from: L3X (thinks)Very interesting... My sensors can pick up something unsual. This place was abandoned by a larger group of living entities not long ago, maybe hours, maybe days... Anyway, I should enter and search the facility.

L3X enters the compound and slowly searches he dark passages. He can quickly find the backup generator room and turn on the power in the facility. He checks the map on a terminal and memorizes it. Then he makes his way to the computer with research results and the room the equipment that could help him repair his cooler system. A few hours pass until he is done.

Quote from: L3X (thinks)Finally... Now I can travel through the desert without problems again.

Now he's looking for some devices that can help him disassemble the Scord weapon. He analyzes the parts slowly and comes to a conclusion... He checks the computer's database some more.

(It's up to you, Ulta. :P So, what did I find?)

(btw Razor is waiting for Pyro to answer him :P)

Vell

the weapon was of Scord design.

however.

while having been designed by Scord, it was devloped for human use, everything about it was geared away from Scord hands, and made for use by a human.

checking the computers database, he was able to discover that a large number of these weapons were manufactured in the facility.

as L3X was about to finish up, he noticed a folder marked 'BioE' despite it being simply a folder L3X found it would not open.

the folder would require some hacking to open.

does L3X decide the Folder titled 'BioE' is important enough to hack? or does he simply move on?

Alex:

Quote from: PyroWe've been born like this. We were never what you call "human". That's why we are not just mutated, we really have unusual abilities that even normal mutants don't have. Who knows, maybe we are the next evolutionary step of the human, maybe not... In any case, we always lived in fear from humans AND Scord. That's why we avoid both. But humans are our brothers and the Scord are our enemies. We will fight the Scord to keep the planet from them, even if our brothers never would want to fight alongside with us. Sometimes even we forget that you are our brothers... It is a harsh world we live in.

L3X:

Quote from: L3X (thinks)BioE... finding possible names... Still trying combinations... Still trying combinations... Still trying combinations... Upon reflection of most recent events and circumstances, the best possible name is... BioExperiments. Hm... I can't hack this file right now. I'll download it and let my system try to decyher it while I do something else.

(hehe, good solution...)

Quote from: L3X (thinks)Let's now see how we can use this technology to improve my HP mode.

with the folder safely tucked away in his harddrive, and after thoroughly searching the facility, when night dawned onec more, L3X had only managed to upgrade his HP Mode by around 10%.

L3X has two choices now, try to find someone with the hacking skills too hack open the folder 'BioE', or head somewhere else.

he recieves a message.

Quote from: Kyle(voice only)Lex, can your hear me? I'm sending out this signal to let you know that we have relocated our base, you have the information as to its location

Blizzard

Quote from: L3X (thinks)I'll let my system try to decypher while I get some "sleep".

L3X connects himself to the eletrical energy system of the facility and sets himself to semi-standby. That way he can track what's happening in the room, process the new data gained from this data and let a process on the side try to decypher the file.

Vell

(isnt it spelled 'decipher'?)

when L3X 'wakes up' the following morning, he finds his process has not been able to even put a dent in the locks on the folder.

theres a whole day ahead of him, and, checking the location of Kyle's new base, he found it was far from his current location.

L3X can choose to head to the new base anyway, despite its far distance, hoping a hacker good enough to open the folder is there. or, he can search for one in a  more... 'local' area.

Blizzard

(Didn't I type decipher? -_- My bad.)

Quote from: L3X (thinks)Hm... I will head back to Desert Lake City and try to find somebody who can open this thing. My AI can't do that.

L3X shuts down the generator and leaves the facility, heading towards Desert Lake City.

Quote from: L3X (thinks)I need to get out of this desert. I'm wondering if there is a way to get quickly to an area around the Red Sea...

it took a long time, but L3X was finally able to arrive in Desert Lake City, and he had to decide on a course of action for hunting down a Hacker.

his systems didn't notice it, but his battle capacity was lessened by about 5%

Blizzard

(HEY WTF ARE YOU DOING TO ME?! >8U )

Quote from: L3X (thinks)So... where can I find a computer specialist here...?

(OOC: its a virus... a really good virus)

walking on some random road, L3X noticed a place with a sign that said 'Computer Cafe, where all nerds and geeks can have fun, and test eachothers skills with computers, androids, simple robots, or whatever.'

L3X had to decide between going in there, or finding some place else, maybe a place less advertised?

his battle capacity dropped another 2%
