Odius:

Odius, scanned the craft again, but still couldn't notice any entrances to it. Odius leaned back on the bell, it making a ringing noise. It drew the attention of the VS-Craft, it slowly rotated in the direction of Odius. He looked at the heavily armored ship, then his brain started to think normally again!

Quote from:  OdiusWhat am I DOING!!! Im effing TANK!!!!

Odius, with his obvious cockiness, turned around and ripped the church bell from its stand. Odius focused his energy, then started to rotate slowly, then picked up some speed. Swinging the bell around, and around, smashing his surrounding area. Odius, almost dizzy, plants his dominate foot and launched himself into the air, above the VS-Craft. While in the air, he gave himself one last spin and cannoned the church bell into the ship. The bell hit the ship, but Odius could not see the damaged he did to it. He was falling from the sky, hitting the church roof then sliding off and then slamming into the floor.

L3X:

Quote from: L3XDamn! We have to hurry back and tell everybody to prepare a better defense. There must have been around 1000 Scord in the first place. At least we killed off a couple of dozens. That should have decreased their number to around 900. On of the possible tactics would be to separate their group into several smaller ones which we can attack separated. That would make them much weaker. Another tactic would be deploy some efficient weapons for shield destruction before the reach the camp to weaken their defense. And the last idea I have would be another trap. If we can at least put up some shield disruptors close to the base and put up another trap like the one before, we would be able to surprise them instead them surprising your group.

Odius:

The ship wasn't damaged as much as disrupted. The bell has not only created a sound on impact, it also passed on the vibration onto the VS-Craft whose stabilizer AI was disrupted because of those sound waves. The VS-Craft engaged into landing while doing half a roll into one direction and then back into the other. The landing was rather unpleasant, but the ship seems to have stayed intact. This was Odius chance to escape and so he did. When he came out of the church, he noticed a few Scord leaving the smoking vehicle. Seems that it has been damaged to much to keep on flying and the Scord are leaving it. They haven't spotted Odius yet. Will he kill them or will he go away?

the android led L3X back to the camp, both running as fast as they could, and arrived with roughly half an hour before the army would.

the android immediately ran to the girl L3X overheard before, and suddenly the whole place was abustle.

the girl came over to L3X

Tikoja:

I stood still for a moment, I was laid back and I wasn't thinking about anything serious. I was sent on a mission to find Odius, a man who had served in the rebel forces. I walked down a little further until I saw a town. There was smoke, quite a bit of it too. I'd have to help, I knew I had to. There was always the possibility of Odius being there. I ran as quickly as I can and I was quickly engaged by several Scord.

Quote from: Tikoja(Thinking)One, Two, Three... Eight Scord. Not my kind of odds but I'll deal with it.

Six shots. I had six shots until I needed to reload. That means I could fire six rounds and then I would need cover. They were armed with guns and were firing at me. I took one shot, hitting the scord inbetween the eyes. I took a second shot, I missed. I breathed in and sighed.

Quote from: Tikoja(Thinking)I'm wasting ammo. I'll activate my eye's targetting program.

It jolted me slightly. My hand was shaking slightly. I got closer towards the Scord. There were seven left. I shot my third shot, barely missing it's heart. It wasn't dead but it would be immobilized for the time being. That meant six were left. The forth shot was a forehead shot. The fifth and sixth shots nailed the next two scord in the eyes.

Quote from: Tikoja(Thinking)Reload. Three more Scord.

I got close enough that I could use a building wall as a cover. I began to reload my revolver.

Quote from: Tikoja(Thinks)That should be another six shots.

My hand stopped shaking. I smirked. I jumped out, lining up the next two Scord perfectly. The bullet went through both of their skulls. That left one last scord. I still had plenty of ammunition. I grinned. I shot it's right hand then it's left hand. I was about to finish it off when I saw a big guy fighting off a few Scord himself.

Odius:

After Odius walked out from the church, there was the group of Scord, from the ship. They hadn't noticed him yet, so he actually thought of a plan. His arms were still injured and he did take a fall, he would have to surprise the Scord. The Scord from the ship broke up into two groups, these were must have been the patrol groups, there must be more inside. The two groups, had 5 in one and the other had 8. The group of eight went off in another direction, and the group of 5 came closer to him. Odius, ripped off the door from the church, he actually was struggling to hold it, his arms were hurting. He went to a corner of the church, and hide behind a wall, waiting for the group of Scord to pass. He waited about a minute or two, while the Scord made their way around the church. He heard them coming, and prepared himself for contact. The first two Scord came around the edge, Odius hit them like their bodies were a baseball. The two fell to the floor knocking back the other three. Odius went up to the two he hit, and curb stomped both of their heads.

Quote from:  Odius (thinking)Awwessoome! Never used a door before ^^

Odius took the door and pinned another two to the wall of the church, took a couple steps back then ran and drop kicked it. The last Scord was there, steadying his gun to shoot Odius. He, saw the fear in the Scords eyes. Odius let out a battle cry, the Scord ran away, back into the ship. Odius heard some shots fired, they didn't sound like the Scords weapons. So, he went to the direction of the sounds, and saw a man with a revolver in his hand, and the other group of Scord dead. He approached the man and waited for his reaction.

Tikoja:

Tikoja finished off the last Scord with a headshot. He looked at the man before him, he was big and wore armor. His arm was injured and it looked like it was bandaged very quickly. It wouldn't do a very good job and would need to be re-done. He accessed the recorded picture of Odius in the small computer system in his eye. It was a match. His mission was almost complete and he'd be able to go back to the rebel army.

Quote from: TikojaOdius? I've heard stuff about you. You see, I'm from the rebel force. I've come here on a mission.

He awaited to see Odius's reaction.

Valcos

Odius:

The man he approached has eyes of an android, they were not his normal eyes. They were quite interesting actually. But, this man, spoke familiar words.

Quote from:  Odius (thinking)Rebel Force!?

Odius was surprised by this, since he was in the Rebel Force long ago. The man, did not have a face he would recognize, he must have joined more recent. But why would he be on a mission to find me? Odius, must find out. He, took a couple more steps forward, getting close to the mans face.

Quote from:  OdiusWhat do you want, bitch?

Tikoja:

Tikoja smirked at Odius's last comment. Although Odius didn't know it, the mission wasn't exactly to get him into the force again. It was more cold-hearted. Not something Tikoja liked doing but he would try his best to get it to end peacefully. His words, most likely few, would have to be very convincing. If not, things would have to get violent. His real mission was to silence Odius. The rebel forces felt as though that Odius may end up giving away any information he had and it would be best to silence him. However, if he could get Odius to re-join he wouldn't really need to kill him. And he hated fighting anyways. It was such a bother.

Quote from: TikojaI'm here to re-induct you into the rebel forces again. I'm afraid you have no choice in the matter.

Valcos

Odius:

Odius, bursts into laughter, the thought of this smaller man making him do something was quite funny. He starts to scratch his neck, just so he can show off some of his bicep. Odius, chuckled once again, then walked into the direction of the ship.

Quote from:  OdiusYeah... no choice! Hah!

Odius, just couldn't get over the fact that, this man came here to threaten him! Maybe, he would know what is best for him.

Quote from:  OdiusOk, um... yeah, Im going into the ship.

Still, laughing. Odius hasn't laughed like this in years, it was actually good for him. The ship was landed, and the ramp to the ship was open.

Odius & Tikoja:

Tikoja seems to be hesitating. Odius gets in and tries to get the thing up and running while Tikoja is still outside. Such a piece of Scord technology could be a huge progress for the humans. But... There was this counter that made Odius kinda nervous. He usually doesn't get nervous, but that thing had something to it. He couldn't really recognize what it was saying since it was Scord writing, but after looking at it for a minute or so Odius realizes that the countdown should be over in the next 15-20 seconds. The displayed signs suddenly turned all red...

Odius:

The panel was flashing red! It must be a countdown to self-destruct, he would have to get out of there. Odius ran out of the room, then quickly ran back and punched the glass of the timer to pieces.

Quote from:  OdiusStupid ALIENS!!!

He continued to run out of the ship, down the ramp. He saw the man from the rebel group just standing there. The blast from the ship would be quite large, considering the size of it. Odius had just enough time to run past, and get to some cover. Odius, curled into a ball and hoped for the best.

L3X:

Quote from: L3XYou already know what I did several minutes ago to stop the Scord? That android contacted you, didn't he? Alright, this just makes it easier. Let's not waste anymore time.
Around 900 Scord are heading towards us and they should be here in about half an hour. Have you any means to separate the Scord groups into smaller groups which we can attack separately then? Besides that we need to deploy some efficient weapons for shield destruction preferably at a location 5 or 10 minutes from here to weaken their defense. It might also slow them down a bit if they try to repair the damage we've dealt. We should also deploy traps around this area to make it harder for them to break through. If you can manage the shield disruptors and traps, we would be able to ambush them as well. We should be able to take down at least 100 more Scord, if not even 300 just with the initial attack. Having their number down to around 600-700 will give use a much better chance to win this battle.

Quote from: L3X (thinks)Wait a moment...

Quote from: L3XI think I have another idea... Do you have an portable particle accelerator here? Or at least a beam amplifier?

Ananda gestured with a hand, and an android came running up.

Quote from: Anandawould we happen to have a...portable particle accelerator? nearby?

raising her voice, she shouted to the general people

Quote from: AnandaAND WOULD YOU ALL PREPARE SOME DEFENSES AND BEGIN TO READY FOR BEING ATTACKED BY A HUGE FORCE?!

she shouted off a few orders, and returned her attention to the called android.

the android turned to face her, and, simply, said:

L3X:

Quote from: L3XThis will be interesting... I have an ice cannon here. If I combine it with the particle accelerator I would be able to modify it to shoot an ice beam, a fire beam or around three times stronger combined fire-ice projectiles with explosive discharges due to the instable and opposing nature of the energies used. If you have ice cannons and more particle accelerators, I can combine them so you would have the same weapon as I do to fight the Scord. It's a matter of seconds to put them together, a minute at worst. This weapon can consume great amounts of energy, but it can do some devastating damage as I just explained.

The android gets the portable particle accelerator for L3X and he gets to work immediately.

Quote from: L3XSo... Do you have any ice cannons and more particle accelerators? If you have portable versions, I can make guns for your soldiers. It's true that I should be able to produce only 30-40 until the Scord arrive, but that should be enough just to give us the small advantage we need to win this battle.

unfortunately, as the android pointed out, they had only a few more accelerators, and no ice cannons. the coming group wasn't supposed to be this powerful.

Ananda gave a L3X a look that made it plain these were Her soldiers, and not to be ordered by any others, and then ordered the android to do exactly what L3X said.

the Scord drew closer.

and elsewhere, far away, a weapon resonated with a signal.

L3X:

The Scord fell over the rather unorganized group of humans. It was a terrible battle. Manslaughter wherever you look... L3X starts having doubts on the success rate of this battle.

Quote from: L3X(thinks)This isn't good... We're not able to keep it up like this.

"SLASH" Another Scord down by L3X, but their numbers seem endless. More than 700 Scord troops made it finally to the camp. The shield disruptors worked, but they didn't seem to have helped much. The Scord are still almost literally raping the humans.

Quote from: L3X(shouts)Eat this!

L3X fires his upgraded fire-ice beam cannon and eliminates 3 Scord in a line at once. L3X actually seems to only one here making serious damage. He's taken down over 20 Scord by now while most other androids didn't kill even one.

Quote from: L3X(thinks)Something isn't right here... Why are those humans so incompetent?! Is this... a set-up?!

L3X starts thinking about abandoning the battlefield and leaving the humans to their fate.

Quote from: L3X(thinks)If I leave now, those people are dead for sure. They can't fight for shit! I have to do something. And I have to do it fast. Those people here are dying and they will be all dead if I don't come up with something. I can take down more Scord, but this is going to slow. Hm... My beam cannon... No... this is too dangerous... I'll keep fighting for the time being. Maybe I get a better idea.

L3X decides to continue the fight for now. But he has to think of something to kill many Scord at once or the humans will fall. And he has to think of it fast. The longer he takes, the lower are the chances of winning the battle in the end.
