I had a dream last night. The content isn't so important as the ending. Basically I ended up with my parents and my sister somewhere in the mountains in a small town and our car was kind of broke or w/e. It's a dream, it doesn't actually make sense why the car was "broken" so I'll skip this part. Anyway, we were in some big building like a very old hotel or something castlelike. My sister and me were walking around and ended up in a room where some people were gathered. That moment I realized it's a small mass (like in a church) about to start and I was like "No way. I'm not in the mood for this.". And I really wasn't. Since the car broke down and my dad annoyed me, I was really in a bad mood.
We were just about to turn around and go away when a few people noticed us. One woman made a very fatal remark. She said in a very lowering tone "Oh, maybe those poor two don't know how to pray." That's where I snapped. More because of her telling that to my sister than myslf. Prepare for epic ownage. I walked up to her and started my rant.
"Now listen to me", I said. "Just because I don't go to Church every sunday doesn't mean I don't know how to pray. In fact I'm most probably a much better Christian than most people that actually go to Church each sunday." I got more tuned up and continued. "And just because you haven't seen a dick in a while doesn't give you the right to look down at others. Unlike you I don't have the need to cure my complexes and frustrations by lowering everybody around me and undervalue them in order to feel better about myself." Then I calmed down myself a bit and continued with a very confident tone: "You are so afraid of who you are and what you like that in order to feel better about yourself, you have to exaggarate the flaws of everybody else rather than accepting who you are and what you like. That's why you are not better than me because you go to Church. Instead of accepting yourself and making the best of it, you try to be something you aren't. You are human, you are trying not to be one." I continued with a very calming tone from here one: "And as soon as I leave this room, you will say how I have no faith. You will shout it out so everybody can hear it. Then you will go on step further and say that I serve Satan. For the fact that I have seen right into your soul and showed you the truth about yourself, you will spread lies about me." Now comes my favorite part. I smiled very warmly: "But you know what? I forgive you. Because I accept who I am and I accept who you are. And may God, too, forgive you and have mercy on your soul." That left her baffled. I woke up about 1-2 minutes later.
It wasn't exactly like this, but it was very close. Epic win. Too bad it was just a dream.
