What is Sandbox?Platinum Arts Sandbox is an open source game design program for kids and adults.
The focus is to make the process of creating games and worlds easy enough for kids but powerful enough to create full game projects.
Sandbox is already being used in many schools and colleges throughout the world and included in game design contests.

Our GoalThe mission of Sandbox is to make it as easy as possible for kids and adults to make their own games and worlds.
The idea is that if we make it easy enough for kids to use, hopefully it will be easy enough for adults as well.

Being open source means full access to the engine code. The sky is the limit as far as new features that can be added.
