Skills that rely on status effects to trigger

Just wondering if there's a way to make skills be usable or maybe do extra damage/effects on enemies only with a certain status affect.  For example I am using a baseball bat as a weapon.  I have a skill that allows me to do double damage only if the enemy is in a dizzy state.

Aqua

Give the skill the element of "2x Damage if Dizzy" or something of that name.

Then give the Dizzy State an elemental resistance grade of "A" for "2x Damage if Dizzy".

Wow thank you so much Aqua.  Is there a way to give an enemy a state change only if their under a certain state.  For example If you use a certain skill to attack an enemy that is in a "bleeding" state it can recieve a "gushing blood" state?  Basically I'm trying to make a system where status effects can stack and pur the enemy in a worse state.

Aqua

In the normal state, have the resistance to "Gushing Blood" on F so it won't ever be inflicted.

Then, on the "Bleeding" state, have the "Gushing Blood" on C or B and then the monsters should be able to be inflicted with Gushing Blood if they have Bleeding.

(Hopefully this works as I'm not entirely sure)

Oi, I know this is an ancient topic long lost and forgotten, but the concept I see behind it is interesting, and shockingly similar to what I'm looking for...and it seems it was never resolved.

I am personally trying to make it so that there is a way to alter elemental efficiency via a skill, or state in battle, but when I went to follow this...in rmxp, under the state menu you can only seem to add elemental defenses, rather than take them away. Nor can you cause a state to allow another state to happen specifically. Granted, via ToNs, using chain status can allow one state to lead into another... I still am at a loss as to how to drop an enemies' oh say...fire resistance.

Anyone have any ideas? This is the closest topic I could find relating to this.
