Going blind (perhaps in one eye)

My vision in my right eye is getting blurry, I've been having white flashes in my right eye and chances are its retina flashes. Is it normal that the first thing I thought about is "hey cool, I can probably wear an eye patch."

Oh shit... I don't know what to say... Isn't there anything you can do about it, like an operation? I really can't imagine going blind, even when it's only in one eye...

well, if is any comfort to u, my old man had same problem. he went on operation, and now is fine. by his words, he used to see this far and blurry. dont worry too much about it. its gonna be fine

well, if is any comfort to u, my old man had same problem. he went on operation, and now is fine. by his words, he used to see this far and blurry. dont worry too much about it. its gonna be fine
