I've come to the thought of making a completely pre-rendered tileset. It wont be flexable but it'll look sexy. That's kind of a different thing all together and it's what I'm going to be doing in my own game (most likely).
Oh, I'm going to have the tree tops be flexable and I'm working on different types of platforms until I find something that works right with it.
The whole stone/tile doesn't really work with it all, and I'm thinking of trying out all natural materials and several pre-rendered huts for you.
The good news is, I figured out how I'm going to do your treetops so they're flexable and good looking, and it shouldn't take long.
@ Susys: I got like 6 frames of animation done but I haven't found a good program to compile them into a good, working .avi. So that's why it's not animated yet. I mean, I can see what it looks like animated and all, but the program I was using was making 500mb .avi files for some odd reason I can't really figure out...
