Skills and Magic?

Hey folks, i am totally useless when it comes to scripting so im planting a request here.

What im looking for (if possible ) is a script that allows the seperation of "skills" and "magics".

So for example, when you bring up your menu screen, you would see..."Backpack", "Skills", "Magics"...
Skills being weapon based moves, and magics being...well...magics.
Im not sure how this could work since as i said above ive not clue with scripting, how that is the general idea, to have both skills and magic have their own seperate window upon selection of it from the menu.

Ive looked around here and on RMRK and cant seem to find anything like it, if there are already scripts for it that ive been to blind to see, could someone point me at them and delete/lock this post.

If not, i would really be greatful if anyone could provide this, if you need anymore info just post it here and ill reply asap.

Though if you want it to be applied in your menu as well, that would require editing whatever menu system you're using. It wouldn't be a hard edit, especially if you're using the DMS.

Ah yeah, thanks for pointing that out, must have skimmed the addon-pile a bit too quickly.

Just one question, do i have to download the whole set of addons just to use that one? =/

And im using Ryex's CollCMS.

Yes, for the Add-Ons to work properly you'll have to download all three parts. You can just disable all of the parts you don't want to use; don't worry - it won't slow down your game or anything by having that extra script in there. As for the edit of the CMS, Ryex himself is still around and might be able to help you if he finds the time for it. If he's too busy, someone else should be able to modify it for you. It doesn't look like it would take more than a couple minutes.
