I've seen that routine around, it's not original. But that doesn't make it any less awesome. I actually didn't want to post it, because I think it is way too hardcore for this topic (and particularly this forum). I personally turn this up three notches. I come over starring ONLY at her hair with a mellow and slightly creepy expression on my face. Until I get close, it looks like I am starring at her eyes. When I am close enough, she will be confused and a little bit creeped out. Incredible tension has built up and that's exactly where I want her. I slowly stretch out my hand towards her hair increasing the tension more and more. It becomes unbearable. At that moment she is totally confused. I don't say a single word, I just run two or three fingers through her hair which freezes the tension level where it is. Then I completely change my face expression into something that cannot be explained with words (when I do that expression while looking in the mirror, I get goose bumps), show her a fuzzball (yeah, I sometimes have one around with me for this to work so great) and watch her reaction on the release of the tension of the situation. She cracks up. Sometimes I even get hysterical laughter. Probably because of the hard pull back into reality.
Of course, during all that time I don't say a single word. I usually walk away right after they are able to talk again, but I never get far enough before they catch up with me. D: (They know I did the tension thing on purpose and somebody who can build up that kind of tension has something irresistible to them.)
Now please hands off the hardcore stuff (which reminds my of that neat thing I do to her hands). Hush.
EDIT: Maybe it works so great because I only do this to girls that think they are the shit and the hottest girl in the place. "The higher they fly..."
It's like bringing a nuclear weapon to a gun fight and it's one of the most powerful things I have in my arsenal.
EDIT: That expression I mentioned... Maybe it can be described with the phrase "Yeah, believe it. I just did that. And you love it." I don't know, it conveys so much that I just can't really put it into words.
EDIT: Hands off the hardcore stuff. D:
EDIT: My line for today:
Me: "Do that again."
She: "Do what?"
Me: "The thing that you just did."
She: "What thing?"
Me: "Ah, there you go, you did it again. It's so adorable."
