Help with a Visual BASIC Project?

So, I have to complete a project in Visual BASIC for a class I'm taking, but I'm not really sure quite where to begin. I know several of you are quite proficient with BASIC among other languages, so if anyone is willing to give me a hand, that would be great! Just PM me or post here if you have a few free minutes. The project is fairly basic stuff; mostly just working with random access files. I'm already designed the GUI, so I just need some help with the actual coding.

What exactly do you need help with? Certain piece of code? Just ask a question and I'll help you.

I've never really worked with random access files before, so that's the main thing I need help with. I need to create a file and store and recall records using a key field, in this case a customer ID number.
