Blizz-ABS issues...

I'm new to playing around with Blizz-ABS, and I'm having a couple of problems.

1) When I set up an enemy to have a custom route that involves jumping, the game displays the following error: "Script '3' line 1760: NoMethodError occurred.  Undefined method 'jump_passable?' for #<Map Enemy:0x3c542e8>"  I wanted the enemy to take a couple of steps towards the player, then jump a couple of spaces in a certain direction before repeating the pattern.  

2) Sometimes when I'm battling an enemy, my player sprite mysteriously vanishes.  When I attack, I get the following error: "Unable to find file Graphics/Characters/_atk1."

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first I don't know, but the second is probably because you have attack sprites to true without the sprites. Line 142 in script part 1. Turn off that feature and it should be working fine.

Hi, stripe.  Thanks for responding.

I actually do have an attack sprite for my hero, and it seems to work fine when I hit the attack button.  The error only appears after my hero has disappeared and I hit the attack button again.  Incidentally, the disappearance of my hero sprite doesn't seem to correlate with my use of the attack button; it seems to happen sometimes after I've taken a hit from an enemy.

Are you running the most recent version? Which version are you using anyway?

The Blizz-ABS Config and the three scripts are 2.79.  I downloaded it a few months ago.

Try updating to the newest version first. It might help.

Is the 2.8 package the latest version (I found it at http://forum.chaos-project.com/index.php?topic=106.0)?  I replaced the old scripts with the new ones, and both issues are, unfortunately, still present.

Are you using any scripts besides Blizz-ABS?

I have no additional scripts.  Just the three Blizz-ABS scripts directly above "Main."

I believe I resolved issue #2.  Prepare to roll your eyes in disgust.

I only planned on using one actor, but I forgot to alter the "Initial Party" in Database to include only that one actor.  Instead, it included actor slots #2, #3 and #4, though there were no spritesets for any of them.  When my main actor died, one of the other three became my active hero and the error came up when the game couldn't find an attack spriteset for my invisible actor.

But issue #1 remains.  Is it simply not possible with Blizz-ABS to have an enemy use a custom route including a jump?

It should be. But it's possible that there is a bug. You need to wait until winkio fixes that.
