Calintz

you could extend the walls beyond the black. Just the ceiling parts.

Calintz

No...leave the edge of the map where you had it, but extend the ceiling joints over where the black meets your map. Or, you could use the path tile that is in the tileset. Use it to rough up the ground in that area to show the player people often pass there.

SquareMan

im sorry but i dont understand what you mean by ceiling joints.

Calintz

yea, me either I guess...I tried it out and it didn't look right anyway!! :^_^':
So...I would have to say use the rough floor tile you construct a path through your rooms. At least that is what I did in my game.

SquareMan

ok, BTW did you get my MSN friend invitation?

Calintz

Perhaps, but I don't EVER get on MSN anymore. I'm not sure if I even have Messenger anymore.

yea, kind of. you have the idea. But if you place the black on layer two or three, then you can take the path through the wall. That will surely look the best.

SquareMan

actually i have the black on every layer.

Enough said, just make the path go through the wall then by making layer one that same rough path tile underneath the wall. This will make the path pass through the black and give the appearance as though the map continues...
