Okay so im trying to make a game using RMX-OS, and up until now everything has been going smooth..

However ive recently found a problem and how i can get around it but i dunno what exactly to edit here

If i open the menu before the chat is full of text it wont auto scroll down and you have to manually update it by opening the menu again or hiding and showing the chat, however after the chat is filled with text it will auto scroll and works perfectly...

So my question is, how can i make it so it displays a message in the chat box when you log into the game? seeing as the chat starts scrolling perfectly once theres enough text this would probably fix my problem

P.S
If theres a way to just make the player automatically do a /help command in the chat when you log in then that would display the commands and that would probably be enough to fix it for now

Any help on this would be much appreciated! (ive tried searching for this for over an hour)

I vaguely remember that there was a scrolling problem, but I can't remember if I fixed it or if I already released a version that has that problem fixed.

Thanks for the description. If I haven't fixed it yet, this will make it easier to fix it.

Well thats good to hear, but about my other question

Even if its fixed, is it possible to have a message display in the chat when a player logs on? Id want to have some kind of info/MOTD thing if it isnt too much work

It's not really a problem to add that. But I didn't include it so people wouldn't be lazy and actually do their own stuff a bit.

if you really wanted that all you have to do is find where the client receives a join map message and add a chat message from the server saying the player joined the map
