Script Troubleshooting / A single script line. Literally
November 01, 2010, 04:46:21 pm
Okay, I can't seem to find this anywhere online, but i know for a 100% fact that it's completely possible using an event's Script Call command in RMXP to add an item to an already existing shop.

But, it's been years since I've used it previously, and I'm completely lost. Anyone know what it is?

Welcome to C-
Ohhh... Nevermind, Love you Zeriab!! You didn't know this but you were a great inspiration next to Blizz and Cal to keep working hard and I thank you for that.
Enjoy your time, just remember if you go to a party, byob.
(:

Bring your own bomb?

No no, Bomb Young Orphans' Buildings.

Anyways, goodbye Zeriab, I've seen you around many different forums over the years, but I never got to know you. You always seemed like a great person, and I'm sure you will be missed :).

Hello, I must warn you: prolonged exposure to Chaos-Project may result in loss of mental sanity. Take at your own risk.

Other than that, welcome to CP!

@tyril:

Level up from me as well. I literally lol'd.

And, if he IS a zombie... we shouldn't worry because I'm experienced in fighting off hordes of zombies with my simple genetically-altered garden plants. (Plants vs Zombie reference ftw) :V:

Quote from: From the Official FAQ

"The PC version will require Windows 2000 or later, x86-compatible 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 400MB Hard Drive space, DirectX-compatible 3D graphics with at least 64MB of addressable memory (such as an ATI Radeon 7200, NVIDIA GeForce 2, or Intel GMA 950)."

Torchlight does not require shaders [3], which means it is technically compatible even with GeForce 2 graphics cards. That doesn't mean that a computer with a GeForce 2 will have the power to run the game, but it does mean that there are fewer technical limitations for compatibility. The game does optionally support Vertex Shader 2.0 which improves performance on some systems, but no shaders are required. [4]

Recently got Torchlight (got it sunday), and have played a ton of it since. It's pretty fun! It's by the designers of Diablo, and, as my friend put it, "It's like taking the best ideas from diablo and all other action rpgs and patching them together perfectly".

Does anyone else play this?

If you do have it via Steam, add me to your friends: swiftdeathsk

I highly recommend trying the demo, you'll really like it!

Recruitment / Re: Mapper Looking for Work

I'm going to lock this thread once more, seeing as I now have 2 projects to work on. If for some reason these games don't work out, I'll reopen this thread for recruitment. Until then, I'm no longer volunteering to help with any more games :)

Would you still have time to map for me, then? lol

I could try to find some spare time, yes :) although I don't have any information on your project *nudge nudge wink wink*. However, think of me more as a part-time mapper than anything. So, keep me updated on your progress as I stated earlier, and I'll do what I can!

Are you still looking for some game to help mapping? I've come to except I'm a horrible mapper and better off at sticking with eventing. I have the tilesets I want to use. Although they are different styles. Which actually might work out in my favor for there are 4 regions. If you would like to know more about the game look here.

http://forum.chaos-project.com/index.php/topic,5527.0.html

I know there hasn't been updates in a while, School/Mid-terms/College kicking my ... But I've been working hard on this and another project in my free time. I just need a few maps up and running to help get this moving so i'm able to release an alpha or beta test.

Contacting me:
Either through PM or
AIM: kir royale 9584

Give me a few days and I'll have some mockups for you if you would like to map.

I'm really liking the idea of that project! I'd love to help! If you could send the tilesets (if they are custom) my way sometime in the next 24 hours (or whenever you get the chance), it would allow me to get used to them a bit more before starting to map with them. This will result in better built maps :)

I do not have AIM, only Windows Live Messenger (MSN / WLM), so PM is probably the best way to set things up!

I hope it gets translated, that would be an awesome way for me to pass the time on my 12 hours a week of bus riding >.< (even if it's crappy, its fun to play around with it)

EDIT: After a quick google query, here's a short article on it for those who are also interested: http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3176472

it says there is no current US release date, but hopefully it's sometime this year :D

Best place to ask about storyline writing is in the Storyline Service thread: http://forum.chaos-project.com/index.php/topic,8.0.html

But you will need to be much more detailed with what you want in the story. Being too general or too vague makes it very tough for someone else to help you.

Best of luck with your story though :)

I'll follow the crowd as well... Could I get my original name of SwiftDeathSK back please?

I recently bought this game on Steam, after trying the demo out of pure boredom, and have fallen in love with it. It is the most pointless, yet entertaining and comical game I've played in years. The goal is to defeat hordes of zombies using alien-like plants to defend your house and your brains. I guess you could refer to it as a "Tower Defense" game, if anyone knows what that is. It's an original and great game, and perfect for passing the time. I literally play this for hours at a time, going through adventure mode, the dozens of fun minigames, etc.

Here's a link to the webpage for PvZ, it was only about $10 on steam, so i dont know if the price is the same on this site:

http://www.popcap.com/games/pvz

Has anyone else played or seen this game? If not, I recommend it to any puzzle-game lover, and to everyone else (seeing as I'm not one myself)

I'd have a lot of work for you soon... when Brian finishes my story, that is. But if he does, I could need you for 'Endzeit' :D Brian said he'll finish it up today, so it'd be fine.
The tilesets aren't fully devoloped yet, but I'll finish them in the next days, hopefully...

keep me updated :)
