Thank you for your opinions :)

Darnonian Chronicles may be a good choice, but what I dislike about it, is that it's too ehhm... unspecific and meaningless.
As if it's just another from the bunch and says hardly anything about the story and content of the game (perhaps a bit vague, but I suppose you get what I mean). I know it was suggested by myself and I'll definately consider it, but I'll think about it a bit first and hopefully recieve the opinion about some more people.

About valor, I do like it, except that I find it a bit short :^_^':
Same as with Darnonian Chronicles, I'll take it into consideration and wait a bit.

General Discussion / Naming my project

So, I haven't posted anything about my project on here yet,
but I will, as soon as I'm content about it :)

The deadline for finishing it (it is also my final project at school) is nearing and I will have no problem making it in time,
but I'm having some trouble...

The problem is naming my project. Well, in fact I do have some candidates and I would like your opinion about it.

- Unlimited Fantasy (the first one I came up with and was actually planning to use from the beginning)
- Warrior's Resolve (since an important character in the game, the "player's" father, used to be a legendary warrior)
- Darnonian Chronicles (Darnon is the name of the world in which the story takes place)
- The Warrior's Way (can't get any more cliché than that, but I don't mind :D)
- Serene Chaos / Chaotic Serenity

If you have any questions, please ask.
Other suggestions for a title are also welcome.

Info to help with ideas for possible title:
- parents were murdered shortly after giving birth to player
- angels saved your life at the time
- father was a legendary warrior
- world is called Darnon
- you have your father's potential
- final goals are learning about your parents, hunt down their killers and save the world (yes really, it can't get any more cliché)

The only way to do that with events only, is by having the bomb hit either a random opponent, or all of them.
You simply set the scope of the skill to "none" and there you go.

This should be hard/impossible to do merely with events.

I suggest you simply use the item (bombs) itself in battle.
This way you'll get rid of most of the problems you're having (gray skill name, double damage, etc.).

This should not require any scripts, nor is it too hard to event.

If you prefer it your way, then you should wait a bit longer for a scripter
or perhaps an eventer who can do it without any scripting.

You're welcome :)

If you have a complex event like that one, you should make sure that either the pages are in the right order.

The priority is highest from right to left, ie: when page 3 requires a variable to be 4 or higher and page 4 requires the same variable to be 1 or higher, then page 4 will allways the one to be run, like was probably the problem in your case.

A second way solve to solve this problem is by making sure the finished pages will no longer interfere. This is how I fixed your event (by using the questline switches).

I hope that is enough to clear things up for you, if not, ask.

I have taken a look at it and here's a couple of things I noticed:

1. On page 2 of the event you have a conditional branch with a switch called "QA session". The loop would have worked without the switch and branch. Not that it matters, but I thought I'd mention it.

2. On page 3 first thing I noticed was that you had a conditional branch with having the variable "Found body" = 4. This is already a conditional for the 3rd event page so it's another unnecessary branch.

As for your problem.
The conditionals of the pages were interfering with each other.
Before fixing it, even page 5 wouldn't run.

There is a key on your keyboard, I believe it says "enter", use it more often please.

You could have given some more information about the demo itself, like the name of the system ._.

My guess is that your character is having the Down-syndrome, try having a good conversation with him or increasing his happiness.

Perhaps there's something wrong with your keyboard? I tend to have the walking problem sometimes with other games I play as well, including on my Xbox360, I have no idea why either.

That script allows you to have 2 (or more, for octopussies perhaps) weapon slots (dual wield ftw) and use 2-handed weapons.

Have you read the description and configured the script?
You should be able to remove the 2nd weapon slot if you want to.
This way you will not be able to use dual wield, but you will have 1 weapon and 1 shield slot like you woud without the script.

I use this script as well, and I have configured it to be like this:

Main hand
Offhand
Shield
etc.

This way, you can have all the possibilities:
- weapon and shield
- 2h weapon
- dual wield
(and yes, I have removed the possibility of having both 2 weapons and a shield equipped :roll:)

Just configure the script to your own preferences, but read the description first. Good luck :)
