I remember back when an "FPS" was just running around killing plain Nazis with a pistol in pseudo-3D.

Chat / Of Lesbians and Constitutional Misconceptions

My old high school made it into the news.

I'm tired of everyone assuming that sexuality is protected under the constitution. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's not in the main document, and I'm fairly certain it hasn't been amended, either.

actually my "friend" that's actually just a loser who I happen to appreciate some of the outward qualities of used to have a band that made a song named "Kickin' Wings." But they broke up pretty quickly.

If you don't know what this is, it's basically what you've been missing your entire life.
$9 gets you unlimited mail rentals of _tons_ of movies + online watching of some. $13/$16 lets you rent 2/3 movies at a time.

The selection is fairly good, I think. And the online streaming works amazing (I only get 200kb/s most of the time, and I watched The Royal Tenenbaums at DVD quality with nearly no wait).

It has a two-week free trial (similar to WoW, you have to cancel it by the end or it will charge you).

I reiterate:
MOVIES FOR $9/MONTH

Our only local band is "Mourning Party," formerly "Forever and Never." They're death metal or something, I think. I don't like any of the members or that genre, so I never really listened to it.

...all the good American musicians are in Florida and Washington. ><

I didn't really have anything to do with my iPhone when I jailbroke it, and I kinda wanted to upgrade the software, so I just upgraded it and didn't re-jailbreak it. It wasn't a big deal.

(I could never get Xcode to compile an app for ARM, so I couldn't use it for development, either)

Actually, I can see the gradients.

Then you're using a WebKit-based browser.

Yeah, big bad humanity.  Oh wait, never mind, humans are the best thing that ever happened to Earth as a planet.

Well, you could say that we made it "worthwhile," but you can't say that we exactly helped the other life on the planet. That's very arguable.

I do like your viewpoint, though.

I never could Heroku get running right. :/

Apparently everyone loves to use OS X as the "ideal" Ruby on Rails platform, so it literally only took me

*download and install git separately, not an issue*
sudo gem update rails
sudo gem install heroku
rails thisisthecomic
cd thisisthecomic
git add .
git commit -m "initial commit"
*work on code*
git push heroku
heroku rake db:migrate
*add comics to database*

Which is relatively little.

EDIT:
*finishes snazzy iphone version* http://thisisthecomic.heroku.com/comics/iphone/2 It auto-detects the iPhone, but you can view it in all it's hugeness there. (note that it has fancy WebKit gradients that you won't see in a non-WebKit browser)

also there are several occasions where I just scream/stare/insult/confuse people in public. using wordplay and number theory and stuff. mainly waitresses and annoying old men. i hate old men.

not embarrassing for me, but I don't think the people next to me feel the same way. like the other day when I spent half an hour explaining to the lady at the community college what happy numbers are while literally chugging powerade and skittles and randomly screaming "FUGABOS AD ROMA" at passerbys while my friend sort of stood there waiting for a teacher.

It's your fault Namk for not controlling yourself.

Lol, not asking for people to feel bad, we laughed about it a few hours later, it's a joke now, it was just massively awkward and embarrassing back then.

Honestly though, if you were in bed with someone you loved, with everyone else asleep to the best of your knowledge, would you not do anything?

having sex when other people are in the room = no. even if they're asleep, they're not guaranteed to stay that way.

you say that when they're right up against you and it's dark and your friend is snoring.

also I can think of plenty acceptable situations where you could have sex with someone else in the room.

"Other" means people that aren't involved and probably wouldn't be if they had the choice.

It's just not nice. People might not want other people having sex right next to them.

(I say this as a person that responded to "Do you want to join the big brother/big sister program?" [the program is some thing where we act as a role model for little kids or something, I still don't get the point] with "I'm giving you a look of utter condescension right now. Walk away." The lady then touched my hair and she was very weird)

I can "just code," but if I want to go into a six-hour session I usually want to feel like crap so that I can be aggressive with it.

The other day I just randomly blurted something about a gay orgy.

It was awkward, since we were just driving around looking at signs.

...I'm basically the definition of embarrassing. This is just the first thing that popped into my head.
