I don't know what possessed me to do this, but I wanted to voice the first line of this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aNcf67dS7Gc) video.
Here it is: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59018752/Don%27t%20I%20even%20warrant%20a%20hello.wav
Not bad at all! I could see you as an actual voice actor. Definitely much better than a lot of the voice acting that I hear.
Thanks rose :P I actually want to voice one of my characters in my current project, but I still haven't decided on whether to include voices or not.
You remind me of a certain voice actor from Fire Emblem Awakening.... pretty good by the way :D
lol Coolio 8)
At least I can say I finally know what your voice sounds like. xP
Thank guys :P
@KK20 lol but i had to take out my accent for dis haha
If you ever need some VA's for anything, keep me in mind. I'd love to help!
It sounds alright enough, but you should seriously invest in a new (and obviously, better) microphone if you plan on being a serious voice actor.

Yeah ._. I want to and all, but #poor. The microphone I use is from my phone lol, so yeah I obviously need better gear. Any ideas where I can find cheap but quality mics?
Yes! I'm just the guy to ask.
I am going to give you links for a fantastic microphone setup (one which I have and love):
Also, be sure to check in the "used" section on the ATR2500 for better prices.
And you can ignore the arm stand, if you wish, but the pop filter is, as I say below, pretty much required if you want to do serious voice acting.
1. Microphone (AudioTechnica ATR2500):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QJREXM/ref=oh_details_o03_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
The ATR2500 is an amazing microphone, if I do say so myself.
Crystal-clear quality, especially if you have little-to-no background noise in your room.
I can post a sample recording, if you wish.
2. Scissor Arm Stand (generic, but works amazingly):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00AK7SKL4/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_7?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=AL7LHK6Q9LVTS
This arm stand is amazing! It helps me save so much space on my desk, since I don't have to keep the ATR2500 on there all the time.
Also, having it makes you feel like a bad-ass, professional podcaster/voice acter.
3. Pop Filter (again, generic, but works great):
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008AOH1O6/ref=oh_details_o03_s01_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Need I say anything at all? When voice acting, a pop filter is an absolute must.
There is no arguing it, you need one.
Hope this helps!
@Zexion: Let me find something to read and I'll do it tomorrow, don't want to wake up my parents.

Reading about all of this makes me want to get into voice acting. Haha.
Do it.
It's fun.
And while I haven't done too much of it, I'm constantly talking to myself (no judge pls) and coming up with brand-new voices which I will one day use in various projects I have planned.
EDIT:
Here's the test; https://www.dropbox.com/s/bvhhi9ord22gbz3/zexiontest.mp3

Tug...that was awesome. You definitely have a unique voice and I can actually see you doing VA work. Good job!
Thanks, Taboo. :)
And yeah, voice acting is something I've been dying to get into (I'm thinking professionally, too), but I lack connections.
I also lack a voice reel, but I will fix that later down the line.
But yeah, lol, I just love doing all sorts of weird things with my voice (and boy, let me tell you, I can do a lot of things with it).
I like your normal voice though :P
Thanks. :D
