You know.. I think Im going to use the second picture..

Is that going to be your final decision? Um, because I kinda voted after you said that...Oopsies. :3

Well, it doesn't matter though. Although Number 1 is beating Number 2, it is still your choice mainly on which of the Battlers you should decide on. I hope that's a size down since the character seems awkwardly short...maybe the legs need a little stretchiness. Oh, but I'm no art critic, this isn't even about art evaluation anyway, so don't mind me rambling on some useless jargon...La dee de da da la la la la...

A SanDisk Sansa, a very cheap or small one. It's not cheap really, but inexpensive...It's very miniature and special.

I would've made some pretty interesting Legos if I can still my find my old collection, which I probably don't have. But alas I don't have Legos at the point, so I don't create them...:P

I second to Ulta on Legos being great...Just that once more, this guy went the extra mile and done all the super special awesome Lego acting. :3

Hey blizzard i'm setting up CTRL as my sneaking button but it will not sneak when I hold the CTRL key ingame. Here is my sneak control line:
SNEAK    = "[Ctrl]"      # sneaking (hold)

I have Version 1.0.9.3 of Blizz-ABS because it was the easiest to setup and I have an example (Chronicles of Sir-Lags-Alot). I'd be happy if you or someone else could help :).
There is a possibility Ctrl will not work when playing because in Test Play, Ctrl means you can walk through walls. Try playing it regularly, as in going to the game folder and playing the Stand Alone exe rather than the Test Play version.

Funny thing is that Lego's 50th Anniversary right now or recently soon and stuff.

But this person must have taken a lot of effort. I applaud that, but man, that's grueling deadly work but into that...:O

Oh, THAT bug. Simply find that line in the script. It will say something like @lead.sight. Well, it should be @lead.AI_data.sight. Same goes for the two methods below with a similar pattern. Simply add that bit and all except for the first error will stop occuring for the time being until I release 1.9. I'll check what's wrong with direction-fixed enemies.

Many thanks Blizzard. :3

I'll be anxiously and joyously waiting for Version 1.9 . I'll also want to know what bugs would be corrected, but that's inevitable, and you're going to put that on the front anyway, so that's a given. :P

Thanks once more. ^^

Hm, it's just getting stranger now. I seriously don't know what is happening with this script. First there's one error and then there's another while one is being resolved. This is seriously confusing. However...I have an image that describes this one, a visual representation is always great.

I was first confused when I looked at the demo. I thought it to be exactly or virtually the same as the Nemisis version, but then I read the differences, and I also noticed the more lack of errors, which makes me more happy. This is a great edition, and I LURV it. <3

I never looked at the old forum for this question, so forgive me if there is any repeating. However, I seem to notice that the HP for monsters can't go really far. I don't know if this is intended, or I didn't read somewhere about this in the manual or something, but all I know is that a monster with an HP that is considered average in the DBS, like 4567 or something, would crash in the game as an ABS monster. I downloaded Chronicles of Sir Lag-a-lot, which I must say, that is very nice game, but I noticed the monsters' HPs never went over 1000. So what gives? :P

Also, on the game, I was playing and an error message appeared that stated the game could not find a short sword graphic for Lag-a-lot, I don't know why...though the monster HP issue has been really ticking me. Thanks again, and forgive me for any other inconvenience or annoyance. :P

Tutorial Requests / Re: can someone help me?

What he means is that on the tileset, he'll have a blank tile that has a passage of X. He then puts this blank tile that has the passage of X whatever place he deems impassable for the player. So he doesn't really need to care about the whole tileset kaboodle in the Database.

Here's an example:

If you don't want to walk on top of trees, but still want to go through them, set the tree's back to circles. Then go to Priority, and set it to something like *5.

---

Of course, Memor-X made an excellent explanation, the only thing I can add is that for a simple Passage, an O means passable and an X means it is a wall. Even though O is passable, the tile can still go over the player, this is through priorities. Also, there is a [] (Square) pass choice, but only for the autotiles. These are wall ceilings. The black things with the border basically.

For priority, consider the layer system, where you can put more than one thing. Usually, the highest layer wins right? Well, if their priorities are different, the one with the higher priority will be over the weaker one. But if they're the same, then layers will do their job. That's my two-cents, which is probably unhelpful.

Thank you for the thorough explanation. I did read the parts of the manual, especially controls, but I thought the Let thing was an essential area, so I got confused when Sneak and Run had those gone. I should've thought about that pattern there. Thank you very much you two.

This'll get me back with motivation.  ;D

You find picture scrolling and cut scenes hard? That's strange I find hardest eventing is advanced variables I don't mean simple stuff like random though.
Well, I usually mean the big flashy picture uses. I mean, simple ones such as number showings (Like in Minigames), lives, or what-not are very simple to do, and fog pictures are also easy, albeit very laggy, but the stuff where the pictures scroll and it looks like a masterpiece can get confusing for me...x_x

I have no idea for coordinates on a picture, or the coordinates that RPG Maker shows me.

I got a good suggestion for the ABS but I'm not so sure if it can work.

I was thinking about the ability to switch characters and have it where each character can have certain ablities.

Like character A may not beable to push blocks but character B can. Or something like character A cannot open up a certain door but character B can.
That's an interesting feature. Many commercial games have this sort of thing, or at least ones I can remember.

---

Blizzard, this is an excellent ABS. It's very sleek, efficient, and it also responds very well. The mini-map works fine, and I love that feature especially. Jumping is also very amusing to initiate, along with long jumping...:3

Though, I'm just wondering, is there a simple way to set the WASD keys to the arrow keys? I mean, looking at the manual, they had an Input D_Up thing. I decided to switch that into the [let] area at the Controls Editing, but when I tested the game it failed. So then I tried Up, instead of D_Up. Whoop-de-doo, failed again. 'Thought it was a keyboard problem, so I put some random unoccupied key and it works, so I don't know if the arrow keys can be assigned or not...if they can't, can you give me a probable reason why?

I am also wondering about this eventing thing. When I began the game with one enemy event, it seems to be I can go through it. Is that intentional? Would I not go through the event if the ABS were to be off in that certain map?

Thanks...^^

Hi hi, I am Starrodkirby86. Heh, I basically have registered accounts on most or all of the major RMXP communities, I don't know why. And I have at least one post on each, so I'm not exactly some complete nitwit there. Of course, enough of that blabber.

On the subject of RPG Maker, I am pretty good with it. I can do many or all of the basic eventing systems except for the advanced Picture functions such as moving it or making something cut scene-esque. I recently been able to mess with coordinates and made some interesting stuff with them, or at least interesting to me that I never made before. I hope I am a good enough contribution to the community, or be at least one new member.

On other regards, I am currently into rhythm gaming at the point. Mainly Stepmania, actually. Now I should bring you to my signature, which shows my current online rank, and basically...that's me in a nutshell. Maybe not. But nevertheless. I know this is a great community, so I hope to part of this. :D
