Uhm, Gameus, you still haven't sent me that PM? Or should i just do like a mobile installation of steam with the RM's on a stick instead? In fact, is there a portable option during the installation of steam?
Thanks. I already own XP and Ace via steam and tried to just copy the programs to an USB stick, but that didn't work... Didn't launch and then i remembered these. ("funnily" enough no VX, just XP and Ace)Though, in all seriousness isn't Ace like VX but better in every way?
Sorry to raise a three year old topic from the dead. But, i was wondering, would it be possible to make VX Ace portable like this? I have some rather bullshit classes at school, where the teach gives us the most basic shit about computer usage as assignments, and i would rather spend my time working on a game or something.
I would imagine that it's hard-coded into the engine/maker itself and can't be changed? I ask because i don't quite like the usual results... The rooms are too square/cubical and not random enough and i don't like one thick walls for a dungeon, at least not in ace...
Should i just continue to modify the results of the dungeon maker until i'm happy or perhaps consider using something else to make the base design and make that in the engine?
Would this be a good one to take instead? Especially if i want to run a second monitor (i forgot to say that i am most definitely getting a second monitor as well as an external hard drive for stuff etc.), not necessarily for game use (maybe, especially if i have/want to get a second GPU) but just having stuff on there when i do gaming or just other stuff in general, like i often wander off to reddit or something during the more boring parts of videos...
So i used reddit's buildapc sub as a springboard and used this utility to make a parts list and since the place seems to be quite slow, i would like to ask for your opinions as well.
I'm looking to build a competent gaming pc, one that runs most games at a solid 60 at high to max setting, so would this be any good?
Well, i guess i'll have a romp trough SC at some point, see what i can find. Maybe ask Tino if i can use KSCIAA's music (with credits of course) in it as well
So where do you guys get music for your games? Since i'm currently just messing about and getting back into the swing of things, i don't want to pay for the music. I personally have been using incompetech and newgrounds audio portal. What else do you guys use?
Gotta snatch these, and it will be the second time buying 'the Storm is coming' since i can't remember which mail i used to buy it the first time and i want to support your musical side-career.
