they just don't make games like they use to. Games now seem to focus on how pretty they can be rather than having fun gameplay and story lines etc.

I might be in a minority but... I do like my older games but I love quite a few of the games that are new. You have those telltale games that make great platforms for storytelling. Life Is Strange is sooo good ._. I also recently picked up Ori in the Blind Forest and I'm really digging the gameplay/art/story.

I picked up an N64 emulator recently and I've been playing Majora's Mask. I love that game sooo much.

Hello Chaos-Project!

  I'm Fallen Angel X! Although now I guess you can just call me Ana. I went inactive a while back but I thought of the folks on here and thought I'd swing by to say hi.

I've been loafing around for a few years but I'm going to go back into school for programming. I'm also hoping to get back into posting on here, maybe. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well! And Blizz, I hope you're still being awesome?

I personally like character busts. But yeah, it'd definitely be a lot more effort. But you don't go into making games thinking it'll be a cake-walk anyways. If you really feel like character busts would be preferable and you're really serious, I say bust your ass and implement busts. If you're not too serious, I say do whatever.

You pretty much already nailed it down, the pros and cons. I, personally, don't like character busts too much. They take up too much screen and I kinda enjoy seeing the little sprites interact with each other.

I guess if you pull off the screen design really well, this problem wouldn't be as big a problem. Although, I'd say busts might detract attention from the player when it's needed elsewhere. I still like busts though xD
