The sites from 1996 (or earlier) up until the dot-com crash.
The type we don't see too much anymore, the type that requires the Wayback Machine to see again. Old webpages created with simple HTML and barely any JavaScript. Maybe some flash, little to no CSS, no PhP, no MySql. Just a webpage, where you look at content. Not much interaction will go on. No comment boxes, there's no membership. But there's tons of content. Some single-serving (i.e, Hampsterdance). You can only interact with the people who run it via E-Mail. Some hosted by GeoCities.
A bit of throwback to those who saw that type of site. I'm pretty sure you all did, at least even once.
Just a bit of wondering, let's talk about it. Maybe show some links to sites that look like those.

Quite frankly, I find these sites fascinating. They manage to do so much with little code. A piece of history of the internet. It's like looking at the relics of an old discarded tomb in Egypt.
