Title: FNAF thread!
Post by: Vell on March 09, 2015, 12:15:52 pm
I'm surprised there's not a thread about this yet.

Five Nights at Freddy's! The entire series is out now, and I'm having a grand time watching some of the youtube people playing it. It's a fun thing to watch others play.

o.o

I've only watched Markiplier's playthroughs and only with a YouTube commenter's list of jump-scare times.
Have to say that the creator didn't put much effort in the third one.

I'm watching Markiplier's playthrough of 3 now, and yeah, it's not as intriguing as the first two. But then, its not the effort put in that's dragging it down, it's the premise itself. It gets kind of hard to come up with interesting things to make it work. And FNAF 2's minigames meant he -had- to do minigames in 3, but even in 2 they didn't really do much. And he keeps changing villain characters. Freddy, Puppet, snaptrap? Why not just keep it to Freddy, seriously?

The only thing I find interesting about the series is its backstory/lore.
Otherwise, the games are pure garbage.

A lot of people seem to be having that opinion about the games being garbage. Including Honest Game Trailers (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vmI56fbkGfg). Even its creator has enough of them, lol!

It could honestly be a much better (and scary) game with a different developer and gameplay style.

Huh...a movie. Warner Bros. got the rights to the game? Double huh.
