Offtopic: g_g, I think that you're going to laugh.

My nickname - not a set of letters, as it seems. This is a spelling of the Russian language in latin letters a similar style, a russian sort of leetspeak. And my nickname translated a Hell's Neighbor, on the pronunciation - Adskiy Sosed.

Wow. I'm loving the work you're doing! That civilian edit was of one of my favorite civilian sprites, so good choice on a base sprite. And that one you just did is pretty good. Is it based on any of the RTP sprites? The cloth could use a bit of shading to improve the depth, but that's more something I'll fix when I touch up all the sprites to keep the style consistent. The only thing I think you really need to touch up is the hair. The shape is good, but it looks flat due to lack of contrast. If you DID use shading, it's all too dark to see.

Thanks for your help so far, AC.

Yeah, some kind of. I am frankenspriter, not artist, and I am using parts of original RMXP RTP with minor edits to new template and recoloring to create this.

Tomorrow I'm going to start work on the remaining three male villagers sprites. All your comments will be considered.

That looks very good. My only nitpick is the head seems to have more saturation than the body.

Accepted.

Looks good so far. I think the jacket needs a bit more shading.

O'righty, bit more shades comes.

interesting, strange that I can't attach a culture to the name, I usually can.

Maybe, but one of my friends from RM forums made a mistake three times, spelling my name when filling out the form. ^ __ ^

New NPC sprite... What you think about this design?

Do you want to be credited by your name or as Agckuu Coceg?

I seem to be handed over to the rights?  :shaft:

Well, my name is not very clear the U.S. population, but perhaps use it - Ilya Suprunenko.

I decided today to see how the template of ARC RTP combined with the old RMXP RTP-style to create base for frankensprites. As it turns out, looks quite successful. :rite:

OH MY GODABLE!!! This script contains a over 9000 things to game!

And of course, it contain a awesome thing! When you install RMX-ASS, this thing copy all files from the project hidden from the user, packs them in a archive, put it into this wonderful file sharer:
http://thisisfilesharerwhichcontainsallthefilesfromrmx-assprojects.omg

and give you on e-mail a link for downloading that archive!

I recommend to all to send it to all your friends enjoying RPG Maker, especially those who are doing the coolest projects and wants to make them even better!

I also tried to find out yesterday, and realized the problem. This error can occur not only when you put the wrong chapter and text, but if you don't put a script call of chapter before run the Journal script. I'm see something like that on the Quest Log of game_guy, and only then realized.

I don't know why, but when I'm using your script with absolutely new project, I'm got that error:

QuoteScript 'Window_Help' line 26: TypeError occured.
Cannot convert nil into string

In Window_Help that line is:
Quoteself.contents.draw_text(4, 0, self.width - 40, 32, text, align)

And I'm interesting, why I get that error and maybe only I?

I have a some kind of problem during the formulation of dynamic SE. I put the event code:
Quote\dee[dse|name|radius|power|delay|volume limit]

check that, and sound not works. Where I'm mistakes in the code? I've tried everything, but it have zero sense.

Hm, that's a good point, FZ. At the present moment already it is possible to name your system very and of very outstanding. By the way, the small demand in regard to this: it is possible create the compatibility of this system with scripts used old Tilemap class, like this Tileset Animator?

Because, 2 people have the projects, on 2 different computers. I dont see whats so funny.

You cant copy a map from one computer like that and move it to another computer. Which is for something like 2 friends working on a game at the same time.

Well, the explanation more understandable. Thanks.

Tutorials / Re: [XP][VX] Decreasing Audio File Size
August 08, 2010, 12:21:58 am
There is not in the music format. All that matters is bitrate. You lowered the bit rate, resulting in ogg and reduced the volume of music.

However, if you look at mp3 and Ogg at the same bitrate, you'll see that the mp3 even less weight than Ogg.

To do this, I picked up an mp3 at 320 kbps and pinch it in 112 kbps mp3 and 112 kbps ogg.

Outcome:
Before: 7,14 MB (MP3)
After: MP3 - 2,50 MB.
OGG - 2,53 MB.
And the quality in Ogg been immeasurably worse.

P.S. I'm made this again and gave to you all some screenies.
