Hello everyone. I thought I'd stop by for a bit and check to see if this place was still around. It's nice seeing names that I used to recognize so well

My name is Diokatsu obviously but you can all call me Neale now. I used to be a fairly prolific poster (still top 10!). I've been studying game design at RPI, a school in America, for four years and now am looking to do game design professionally.

I recommend this album. It's GY!BE + dark ambient sometimes, piano + violin led dark orchestral sometimes, upbeat and pretty orchestral other times and it's pretty unknown so you'll be the envy of all your hipster AND weeaboo friends! Get in this.

I don't even know if I can play skyrim anymore...i keep looking around for stuff to do but all the dungeons are basically marked as cleared...whelp waiting for the expansions...

yeah dude, i know how it feels, but the dragons do get harder later on. Elder dragons kick giants asses and it'll get better once you get Dragonrend

I totally agree. Games don't need excessive violence to be fun to play.

Well I think was winkio means is that games don't deal with exceptionally mature issues in a thoughtful, realistic or mature way. Most video games really don't address hard issues in a complicated way, and before anyone says, "But what about that one time in insert_game_here, where you had to make insert_difficult conundrum_here where you have to make a moral choice and deal with it," chances are the game didn't punish you , it just changed the gameplay. Sure, it's a difficult decision, but goddamn, you gotta complete the game anyways. Mass Effect isn't going to prevent you from completing the game just because you made a certain move and to be honest, I've never played a game that affected me deeply and was actually entertaining to boot. Like the Shawshank Redemption.

most broken stats are enchanting and smithing. they make magic cost zero if you have four items that reduce a school of magic'd cost by 25%. so make a full set of daedric armor with enchanting lol. Also, 70 hours in, pretty bro. love the game, not as interesting as morrowind, but just as intricate. overall I'll say it's better.

Morrowind was too slow paced for me. No fast traveling, hard to make a decent amount of cash. WALK WALK WALK WALK EVERYWHERE. And your character move so slow.

morrowind was basically a tabletop RPG, but the rewards for the slow pacing was the absurdly cool environment.

Get the one's for Pad aka RED

You wanna do different keys? Go to options and key mapping or whateva, it's in there. Arrow order is Left, Down, Up, Right. My keys are S, D, L, ;. You can change the theme in appearance.

You wanna make it go faster? Press start after you select a song, aka press start twice, and change the speed from 1x to whateva. If it's got an X there it's an X mod and will change speed if the file changes speeds, aka slow down with the song if the chart does. If it's got a C it's gonna stay the same speed all the time (this is the best). Something in the C200 range is cool but find what you like. even 1x is cool. You can change the noteskin from here too, you'll see it.
