Welcome! / Re: Back from the dead

Vell is short for either Vellus Terennia or Vellia Terennis!

and yeah I remember Myriad Souls xD Funnily enough, I rehashed the idea and expanded upon it for another rp which has its own forum. It's not really very active so I wouldn't recommend joining, though ~

I'm hoping season 2 ends up being better paced.

Limit your responses to a few paragraphs at a time. Trust me, it's not as hard as it sounds. Once you get past the part where the RP's opening up, barring a few exceptions, you'll be able to get away with smaller posts. When I gm, most of my posts are the smallest - even when I'm taking a direct hand in things. It gives the RPers more freedom, I feel. That all said, yeah, you'll have to spend about 20 minutes per response if you want it meaty.

Don't necessarily wait 'til everyone's posted, respond to those posts you can when you find the time.

EDIT: Remember that in RPs, time is fluid. Maybe not everyone acts at the same times, or even the same block of time. If someone looks like they're getting ahead, it'll turn out they were actually starting a day or two before everyone else, or maybe the others had a few days of downtime. Unless everyone's in the same space at the same time - ie, in the same city near enough to interact - then they can be treated as being in their own timeblock, which can be shuffled about or even extended to fit in with the timeblocks of everyone else's actions.

You can give them orgasm-powers, trade with'em, battle'em and access their friend safari. And view a short, 10-second video they construct.

EDIT: On your main menu, up in the top there's an orange smileyface. Friend cood is found there. You need to make a Mii first.

El Dudarette?

I know, but either way, my character acted in character, regardless. *shrug* just wondering if you were interested in the interaction

@DigitalSoul: If you want to continue the thing where Alfred's following Angel, perhaps you could segment your post into two parts? One before plot, one during plot. Allowing that WhiteRose is agreeable, of course.

You

EDIT: YOU.

EDIT EDIT: hi

Note: In order to keep bogging down the RP with communication between players, perhaps it would be best if it could be arranged for, if two or more players' characters are going to get into a conversation, they could rp it in skype or some other instant messaging medium which permanently stores the backlog, and then type it out fully / in longer parts, so that a conversation consisting of like, 5 sentences back and forth doesn't take up half a page or more.

From the corner of his eye, Alfred noticed the elven girl he had earlier seen eyeing him. And then following after that merchant. Strange. And suspicious. "So, Pallanna, have you covered my room expenses as well?" The girl had the audacity to giggle; Alfred found it charming. She had an excellent giggle which bode well for her laugh. He'd heard her laugh before. It was pleasing to the ear. He spoke to the serving girl for a short while before becoming aware that the woman had reentered the Red Dragon. Fortunately, she left soon after. Alfred bid Pallanna his well leavings and stepped out of the Red Dragon, catching sight of his mark. Careful to avoid her notice; a peek into a window for a few seconds here, a smile to someone else there. What Alfred was after would not be served by the woman realising she was being tailed.

Alfred thought about what he knew of the local nobility as he kept a lazy eye on the girl. He might have angered a few in the past, but any enough to have him followed? He quickly gathered that his target was stocking up on supplies. Trying to follow him and the wagon? What had she asked the businessman? Damn it, Alfred could not afford to bring personal issues to work; it would kill his reputation and then he'd be penniless. Or was he wrong about the girl? Was it the merchant she'd been eyeing and not him? He felt certain that he'd seen her looking at him even when she returned, but only the most rank amateur would brazenly walk back into the tavern, knowing he was inside. Did she have any accomplices? Should he catch her off guard? Best to be cautious; see if he could find out where she was staying the night. And if she wasn't, if she left Farrance, he knew what to do.

Note: DigitalSoul, this is at you.

Well yeah, I was pretty much inviting that *shrug*
