The link about is to Epic Win, an App that combines an RPG with your real life todo list.

It brings up an interesting question: how can video games be used, other than for pure entertainment?

Heard that FPS like games can be used to treat lazy eyes, they put a blindfold down on the good one so the eye muscles have to strengthen on the bad one.

Besides that video games and browsing the web supposedly rewire the brain to more reflexive, though less capable of focusing on a single stream of thought. Kind of a throwback to what early humans behaved like. So I guess they can be developed to a brainwashing robot-making device, with some R&D.

That trailer was Epic Fail.

But the app does look good, and could see myself using it.

And games can be used to train people for various tasks, I would say.

I've always had the half-assed idea that a corporation could use an MMO to drastically increase the productivity of cubicle workers XD

I would really love to work there. They WOULD get their TPS reports.
