Okay, someone please make this clear to me and my club once and for all.

IS it possibly for Blizz-abs enemies to JUMP or not. Because everything I make a jumping boss, it SPAZZES OUT. Like I could make plenty of
pic bosses if the jumping worked but those error messages are a bitch.

Blizz-abs Boss creator Addon with Configuration Program.

1. The program loads up your data.
2. Select the map you created for the boss.
3. The program will load its image so you can imagine the boss's paths
4. Scale out the boss's movement paths, attack sequences, etc. And whenever it gets to a certain amount of HP, it can change it to
another pattern. (ex. pattern 2)  [Maybe a drawable paths system as if you're using a pencil from paint to point out where the boss will move during each phase)
5. Instead of blizz-abs forced skills, this easy-to-use program will allow you to force the boss to use a skill and you can choose the path of the projectile. (diagonal,multiplepaths,horizontal, etc)
6. Built-in boss enemy generator system. For bosses that like to spit out enemies or eggs.
7. Boss explosion system. (which simply uses blizz-abs' system)
8. Phase system. Though optional and idea for final bosses, the boss will switch patterns, attacks, etc. You can increase difficulty of the boss during each phase.
9. Built-in teleportation system. No more "Set event locations." Or whatever you use. For those that like to create teleporting bosses, you simply select teleportation points. Whenever you make your boss use teleport, it will teleport to one of your spots. You can even make it use a skill after that.
10. Shockwave system. You know those visible colored shockwaves that bosses like K. Rool(dk64) use. Well that. To evade the attack, you can put Blizz-abs' jumping to use or you can select the option to have it evadable by simply defending.
11. Flying system. You can't attack the boss when its high in the air. You can even make it drop bombs(that can create mini shockwaves) while in the air. Or make it do other various things
12. Background attacking system. You know those bosses that like to jump in the background and unleash its fury upon the player. Yes, that.
13. True Gaint Beam system. Bosses that unleash giant white beams. The default beam will be white. You are free to edit it though.
14. Jumpable beam. For those that set blizz-abs jumping to ON, you can make a beam that sweeps horizontally or something like that, and the player can jump over it to avoid getting damaged. You can set its damage by percentage. Same with gaint beam which strikes one area and can create a shockwave(if you check that).
15. Meteor system. (or multiple fireball shooting system.) Boss shoots a set amount of fireballs into the air. They come crashing down. The player must keep moving around to dodge them. You can set the speed of this as well.
16. Health system. Simple, use the boss health system that was made by LiTTleDRAgo. In fact, this system, with his permission, will have that built in.
17. Granite or Wild color system. Whenever the boss is charging up some insane attack or even the giant beam, it will flash a bunch of colors or glow. You can even set a sound.
18. It uses a Script Generator System like Blizz-abs. The script will most likely be a three-parter or so.
19. And more...maybe...depends on the suggested ideas.


Before you began degrading this system or stating that you can event this, please don't. This is nothing but a mere idea and I may
fund the scripter(s) myself to create this once I build the funds.
You can't event this, at least not easily. (Imagine eventing this for ever single boss in the game. Believe me, I had to for Flame of Life one and Generations. Painful.] There maybe several different scripts similiar to the mentioned numbers above, but this system will have them all in one.
This script may be hard to create but that's why I'm willing to PAY the scripter(s) for his/her/their time.
Please comment, suggest to this system, or even lend a hand.Right now, I want to know
who are the scripters out there that want to make an extra buck and at the same time have Blizz-Abs' Ultimate son. Next to his older brother
Rexmos, BABSBCP will make Rpg Maker XP fun once again. The many options above will give people a chance to create hundreds of types of bosses
so that they will never be the same.
Also, since the system will use a lot of different built-in sprites, I may hire a/some spriter(s.)

Once again, this is simply a mere idea. Please don't object it harshly. Instead, please comment, assist, come up with ideas, etc.
I'll think about it and may fund this. I repeat, I'll probably gather the funds and
pay for this program to be made.

Suggestion:

Blizz-abs conditional branches:

Things like, if enemy had maybe 50% HP left,
it can use certain skills or retreat or something like that.

If enemy is cornered, it will self destruction taking you with
it.

Moral of this. The regular conditional branches for battle are for the
default system. I think someone should take these conditional
branches and convert them for Blizz-abs usage.

Story
The story continues directly after season one. It also tells the truth of what happened in FOL season 1's final battle. (By the way, someone post if they have found 12 or more of the secrets in at least one of the games)
Anyway, a rumor stating the Water of Death has appeared plagues Other World. Heiti, a subordinate of the past Flare appears on earth to warn him. The only way to possibly stop the WOD is the Shard of Destiny which is embedded within Liya. Firina, Flarina's partner within the observers, sends Flare and his friends on a quest to retrieve the Flames. But what awaits Flare is more than action. Someones a having TOO many girls fall in love with you IS NOT a good thing. Can Flare retrieve the essence Flames while at the same time, avoid getting killed by the women that love him? Or keeping them from killing themselves. Wait? There's... another one.. AND someone's returning....

Story
I'd rather let the game speak for itself(it's just a first game of a series), but here's the story.
Flare, a teenage boy, is hanging out with his friends during lunch time. Suddenly, there was a large vibration --earthquake-like one. He wanted to venture out into the forest to see what happened, but his cowardly friends didn't want to go with him. Since Flare had fighting experience and carried a wooden sword, he decided to go into the forest alone. There he meets a girl named Flarina, who is an observer. She tells him that he's the Flame of Life and that a very important city of the human world was in danger. She even offered to train him on the way. Flare makes up an excuse and runs back to the classroom. However, Flarina was persistent. She transferred into his school. Flare gave up and decided to help her. This is where the story begins....

I get this error a lot more often than usual. This is really annoying.... My game is going to  be ruined at this rate...


Okay, by simply removing:

HP Consuming Skill, I stopped getting that annoying error and my game works fine now. (removed from tons of add ons part 3.)
I'm going to play more battles to make sure this is the case. Thanks.

I think an idea like this is okay but funny at the same time. It reminds me of someone's (not here) sideview battle system idea based off blizz-abs.

But anyway, this idea was brought to me a while ago but I just never got around (or was too lazy) to posting it. Basically, like in Super Mario games, you can jump on enemies and then knock-back (so you can't spam) should send them 1 square back, so that you can attack either a different enemy, or the boss again.
I think if anyone uses this script, it should be recommended for just Mario and sonic games (and maybe disable weapon use)
but nah...

Jump Damage as in Mario.

Hey everyone, I thought I might let you guys know that we're continuing our Videogame stream-a-thon tomorrow after lunch.(as in Saturday. We may try and do this every weekend)

Is there anyway to put more than 7 autotiles in a map. Like, RMXP limits you to a max of 7 and my club wants to know if its possible to have more.

Script Requests / "Boss Health" for Blizz-abs.

Yeah, I'm very surprise this hasn't been created yet. A giant  bar that shows up on a screen during a boss battle. A person can simply activate this using a call script or set it up for certain enemies.

I have yet to toy with most of the "force action" call scripts for bosses... will get started tomorrow. I have been showing off Blizz-Abs (getting it recognition) to my club. They love it, of course. :) Shows how great a job Blizz and Winkio are doing.

Creating a game using pure programming... how do you even start. Do you first build your own level editor or .... urgh.

Okay guys, you remember Picture Movie Scene from Tons of Add-ons?
Okay, I've followed the instructions very carefully, but no matter what I try, I cannot get this thing to work :/
So can anyone Post a demo, which demostrates how to  get this to work. (step by step)

Shoot, I'll even take a demo that has it working. Then I can review the scripts and adjust mine accordingly. Please. I'd really appreciate this. Thanks in advance.

            Remember my first game.... designed so noobishly, although it maintained a hilarious storyline and the design wasn't 100% bad. However....
        We can't leave it like that. We can't let this vampire live in a world with design flaws? Do you guys want me to put true effort into creating a game? Please reply to this post with a "Yes" "Do your best man" or some other motivation xD

               But in seriousness, its time for me to dig into my old file folder, delete all the maps, the battle system, and REMAKE THE ENTIRE GAME. [I'm debating on whether or not to use the tilesets from rmxp] the only sprites that are going to be original(rmxp) in this game are going to be Nawm, Gladius, Adrian, and Brer. [Unless you guys want to volunteer to give me blizz-abs compatible sprites in order to prevent any original rmxp stuff from showing up in this game, but I'm not asking anyone to]

                                              STORYLINE
Note:We're pretty much sticking to the original storyline; after all, this is nothing but an epic remake xD. However, I'm going to improve upon it.
 The original storyline:  Nawm darted back in forth in his room, fed up with the constant crap the humans were giving him. He couldn't sleep due to loud parties. He'd here talk about the hero, Adius, every single day. This was ridiculous! Why couldn't the humans just live a peaceful life and keep down the noise! Nawm trained and trained until he finally developed an immunity to the sun. It was time to dominate the mudball, known as earth; however, he knew he couldn't do this alone. He's going to need some assistance. There should be a dragon keeper nearby...  (On top of that, a few more allies.... hmmmm)

                                                   GAMEPLAY
This will use the latest version of Blizz-Abs, of course.  And I may implant a nice day/night system.
Anyway, basically in order to be successful at dominating the world, Nawm must conquer all 6 nations. Each Nation is ruled by a powerful human (powerful, as in leadership wise).  Killing all of those in power: YES YES YES.  Of course it won't be so easy, because each of those rulers have either a hero/heroine or some kind of powerful weapon.  After all, they must be prepared for every situation.

Nations:  (nations aren't small. They're filled with towns, Forests, etc)

1. Bronze Forest Nation  2. Kappa Nation  3. Snow Moon Nation  4. Valcoun Nation  5. Falco Plains Nation 6. Thunder Cloud Nation


Secrets:


yes, this game will have them. The first game had them as well :P/  Anyway, secrets could vary, whether being an item or some object.


 Orbs of Power:

If you played the first one, then yes, these Orbs are back. Just follow the original routine: collecting all 6 of them = Ultimate Technique..
NOTTTTTTTTT. Nope, no more of this. Collecting all 6 of them will unlock an rare secret of some sort.


Nawm's Blood Sucking:

Yes, the first system was flawed, because it appeared that any character could suck blood from a human, BUT NOT ANYMORE! I'll use the condition branch to solve this problem. [Hopefully it works out fine.)

Maps:

Yes, I will take my time on them. Most of them will be small, in order to make designing much easier on me. I did learn to utilize the "zoom" option on rmxp, so whenever I need to make a decent map: bam!


Bosses:

This is going to be the toughest part to handle, but I am going to make creditable bosses/mini bosses. Bosses can use skills and they all
have health bars. Same applies for mini bosses. You will also learn to recognize the boss music and mini boss music xD and so when the final battle starts, the music will catch your ears.

Situations:
During the game, you may run into a situation where you will have to either think back or use your brain. There will be a few mini-games as well, but meh.

Elemental Secrets:
If you somehow stumble into an elemental being, you can engage into battle with it. If you manage to take it down, you will earn its elemental attack. Be leveled up when fighting them: because they will not hesitate to kill you. (and may be too strong at that point)

Support:

I could use all the help I could get. No, this isn't a "team game" but links to a good resource of some sort would be fine."blizz-abs-compatible" resources to help. I do want to create a game that is worthy not only to my eyes, but to this site and maybe it could catch Blizzard's attention

I can't believe this wasn't created yet.  But, is there anyway we can have a script that allows players to attack each other?

On top of that? Can we have  Random Start positions (player one start positions, 1, 2,3, up to 8) And then we can simply created an event with a switch named

{P1 Start Pos}  place that in an area and then a random amount of players would start there while others will start in differents (where the other events are placed)


But really, the main focus would be to allow players to attack each other? If this possible that is...

Okay, I looked everywhere for this, but came up unsuccessful. I wander if someone can make a quick script where a text box can be expanded or something that prevents
text from being cut off.

Don't you hate that; like where you type something, it ends up being cut off. That's what's happening to me alot, ESPECIALLY WITH GAMEGUY'S MAIL SYSTEM.

Okay, I'm pouring my time into a unique game, in which, I want to show everyone how much I improved and all.

However; I want it to use two battle systems.  1. Blizz-abs  2. Gubid's Tactical Battle system. ( http://www.creationasylum.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=20353)
Can anyone make it so that their more compatible with each other. As of now, they DO coexist, which is freaking awesome! HOWEVER, every once in a while, I'd get in error.

I really am sorry for requesting something this annoying; and thanks|Gratitude in advance:  I really want to release a new type of game here on this website..

Okay, so I want this thread to be all about questions and answers about the turn-based system, because I have a few friends who are new to this system and want to take baby steps and start with the old battle system.

One of my friends was working on the final boss and a problem came up.  The final boss has three transformations.  Each time you kill the enemy, he wants it to immediately transform to a new enemy. I tried condition  (enemy state knockout inflicted,  Enemy health below 1%, etc)

The other option, which is the long hand option, is to make them three separate battles where the final boss transforms on the map.  But before we push onto, is there a way we can get it to transform without exiting the battle?

I'm working on a project that requires the use of both BLIZZ-ABS and  a tactical battle system.

I'm able to disable his battle system with a simple call script: disable_tbs

Can anyone make it so I can enable/disable blizz-abs the same way. (just the battle system itself, but the add-ons such as eight-way movement remain on?)

Something happens  when an event touches another event.

Like for example:  Link pushes the rock in the hole. *event happens.*

Event on event collision, I guess.

Yes, I'm bored.

So, here's what I'm going to do. Me (and anyone else who joins)  are going to play through any rpg maker xp game you submit to this post. As proof of playing through the game, we'll have to take a screen shot of the final boss or answer 1-2 questions of yours.

What can you submit:
-NO GAMES USING THE RPG MAKER DEFAULT BATTLE SYSTEM. Sorry, but I just can't play those games :/ they fail miserably and YOU know it.
- Side battlers are accepted
- Abs, including blizz-abs games are accepted.
- Think of this as a chance to FINALLY get someone to play your game. I'm offering my audience-ship. Accept it and let me play your game.
- NO DEMOS ALLOWED. I FUCKING HATE DEMOS AND WHAT'S THE POINT OF THEM ON RPG MAKER.
- ONLY rpg maker XP games allowed. Vx is for n00bs, so sorry.
- Game must have at least 2 hours of game play. Or if its extremely awesome, I'll bend that rule for nothing less than an hour. Otherwise 2 or more hours of gameplay.
- Abs games are going to be played before the side-battlers because their faster to finish/
- If you join me, you ARE allowed to submit your games as well. After all, this is all for fun.
- First come, first server :P Obviously.
- I WILL RATE YOUR GAME 1-50, after finishing it. If I hate it, it will get a low scove. Love it = higher score. That is all.
- I may give feedback as well, but don't get your hopes up.
- If anyone submits a Chrono Trigger-like game, kick ass XD

Does anyone mind spriting Chrono Trigger sprites in Rpg maker XP style?
The sprites I'm hoping to see:

Magus, Chrono, Marle, Lucca, and Frog.

I want to make it so that your attack power and stuff increases WITHOUT the need of equipping new weapons. That way, I can simply check
the "fixed" slot when configuring actors.  (the game won't be boring because I'm focusing on the use of skills, while the actor only can wield one weapon)

I've searched using the "search result thing" but I haven't found what I'm looking for.

If this exists, can anyone link me to it.

My brother whips my ass about this all the time when it comes to maps:

I just have a simple question:

Do large Maps bother people?     Even if you have Blizz-abs "running ability"[which I can't live without]


He does say that, my use of cutscenes is the ONLY thing that's making my "long (width 75) maps worth playing"

He only makes an exception to the long maps with a height of 75, or the maps I create inside buildings, the cruel motherfucker xD

He's like "STOP MAKING FORESTS MAPS YOU ASSFUCKER. AAAA"

(whether is decorated good or not) He hates long maps unless they either have a cutscene or a purpose. (purpose as in, I created an a chase scene, using custom move routes, and jumping of course, and lower opacity.(to give it an appearance that the enemy just moved at a super fast speed) He thought it was fun as hell.]



Bottom line, from my brother being cruel,  Do long maps bother you?

Script Troubleshooting / Resolved!

Okay, after following the well written instructions of the online mmo system blizz made, I finally got everything installed,
created a username, etc.  Now listen, this is critical. I put the rmx-os script in a game, that was already created. (orb of death)
I'm not sure if it has to be some blank field or what not, but here's a picture of the error it keeps giving me. Can anyone tell me the cause of it:

Not to sound like a n00b, but don't post www.justfuckingoogleit.com because I did. I google everything BEFORE I waste time asking or requesting something because I'm lazy at posting (as you can see my low post count, although I've been here for a while)

Question was, just incase the topic cut it off was:  Where can I acquire a side view battle system, like in Chrono trigger?

For some gay reason, Side battlers are damn hard to find. Most of the ones I do find, have been uploaded to sendspace and has expired.
