Hey guys! I've been hiding out in my cave and currently making a street fighter-ish mini segment, but something's stopping me: If the player punches, the char graphic can only update (from walking to punching sprite) after the movement finishes (walking a step, or Jump movement command), even if the graphic-change command is called during the middle of the jump, for example.

Is there a way to make RMXP update the character sprite graphics even during movements? And preferably the ability to switch between the default method and that method via an in-game switch, for example.

Either way, many thanks for your time! If anyone could help figure out a way, I'd be happy to return the favour with a Steam game code of whichever title on your wishlist too :D Cheers~

Edit: Ended up going with a simpler system instead to avoid the issue. :P Thank you anyhow!

Looking fantastic. o: I've always wished that RMXP had waveform display and a scrollable progress bar, and then BAM, here they are.

That's really cool how dynamic it is. o: Seems a tad heavy, though; or maybe it's meant to be like an intentional source of black smoke coming from somewhere.

And aye, the mouse control's rather flexible. c: I was first wary of it, but now it's growing on me.

Lovin' the effects; intro makes me feel like I'm floating in impending awesomeness, then I fell into said awesomeness. But aye, a little repetitive in structure so far -- looking forward to seeing how the final product turns out.

Hahah, yeah that's apple juice. :D Helluva strong apple juice.

I think it does too. Although, I think this is one of the few instances where the show's charm is actually also due to the fandom's contribution. I remember I started watching it because I saw a bunch of really awesome stuff made by the fans that're so out there. I don't actually recall a point where I went "I'm now a fan", but it was pretty gradual.

There's this "Pokemon effect" after a while, which plays a role too -- you start trying seeing glimpses of background ponies and go "HAY THAT'S ____". E.g. Derpy and Doctor Whooves. It's like playing Where's Waldo. :> And when you see them you kinda associate the fandom stuff made about them with their actual characters, while the show actually doesn't have that much of depth for them itself. I'd say someone should do a study on the fan-creation effect here, but knowing the pony community someone probably already did.

Thanks guys. Aye, I'm surprised not many people do custom lighting fogs nowadays, it could really make a nice difference.
