When I wrote that I was thinking that yes, you could have a friend make all the graphics or scripts for you but not compile it together (it's basically the same as leeching all the resources off the internet), if you know what I mean... yeah I admit it's rather vague... o_O. So... yes, you can.

Boss Battle Competition (Non-ABS and RMXP)

Create the ultimate boss battle scene! Spawned indirectly from http://forum.chaos-project.com/index.php?topic=2737.0. ^-^

Rules and Information

YOU CAN:
- Use events, skills and ANY scripts you wish
- Have multiple staged battles if you want
- Use RTP resources or use your own resources instead
- Include SHORT cutscenes if you want
- Have a low level boss and characters if you want (i.e. not final boss style)
- Make your characters have freaking awesome powers (- Please! xD)
- Make it not serious if you want

YOU CANNOT:
- Have more than one team member. Note that this does not count resources and custom scripts.
- Have glitches!
- Have more than one boss* (although it can take several forms)
* If you choose to do this, you cannot have several forms.
- Have a game which lasts for longer than 5 minutes (minus the time taken for the battle, of course)
- Have cutscenes which are more interesting than the battle
- ... enter, Blizzard - you'd win

ABSOLUTE BARE MINIMUM EXAMPLE:
- Game launches straight into a battle scene.

Judging and Criteria

I will accept three judges. Judges must have good enough internet to DL entries, enough time to play through them, a lack of bias, etc, etc. We will contact each other via PM on this forum or MSN if you want (but I'd rather not). I am a semi-judge (since my internet is so damn temperamental >_>)

Current Judges:

I'm open to better criteria suggestions and I'll write up a proper list for judges but at the moment...

Challenge:
   Strategy (how interesting)
   Length (too short/too long/just right)
   Attempts (too easy/impossible/awesome)

Creativity:
   Boss design (how creative)
   Boss skills (suitability/uniqueness)

Equipment:
   Levels (too low/too high/match boss)
   Skills/Abilities (how awesome)

Aesthetics:
   Visuals (how interesting)
   Graphics (how pretty)

Bonus points:
   Lulz OR Epic Wows
   Unique ideas for scenario
   If you bribe the judges with munneh

Deductions (although they are minor):
   Glitches encountered
   Cliches
   Breaking any of the rules

Prize

Winner receives fame and glory and Reno will be added to your fanbase. Winner will also receive a free, full-colour drawing request of whatever the duck they want (actually, only human-like things please... >_<) from Reno in manga-esque style. I don't understand... for the sole reason that we pollute and damage the environment? I don't see burning toxic clouds, zero plant-life and super overheated greenhouse effects yet - oh wait - that's Venus. Just because there is no-one to blame for Venus' state does not mean the situation is not the same. If we seriously went and killed everyone that was to blame for something then no-one and nothing would progress. People aren't pure and they make mistakes. If no-one makes mistakes then no-one learns, etc etc.

Anyhow, if you wanted to be technical - who said the environment (that is plants and animals) is natural anyway? When it all boils down to it, the universe is made up of particles, predominantly hydrogen. Why don't we just destroy the universe in a reverse Big Bang so it can all go back to the way it was? Life is a weird sort of anomaly in a non-organically dominated universe.

I think someone's being a little short sighted here. Personally I think that humanity has realised its mistake fairly early (only a few hundred years since the Industrial Revolution in the billions that the Earth has existed). There are enough people trying to solve the environmental problem in other less drastic ways than mass suicide. This is an opinion which is kinda like "Yeah, all stupid people should be killed." No. As much as I hate them, who says I'm not one? Who is to decide? Who will thank us when we all kill ourselves; when the remorseless Sun drags the Earth into itself and destroys all our efforts?

Why was reproduction invented - why is sex fun? Why does death and the dead smell so bad (although some strange people whom I will run away from might think otherwise)? Life and the living want to survive. They were created/developed (choose whatever you will) that way. So we should not kill ourselves over some misguided idealism.

Anyhow, it's good to see you're so passionate about our planet you would sacrifice your life for it. I don't want to you sacrifice your life - I'd rather you do something more productive. Please?

I agree that there is a massive imbalance to where people on this Forum people visit, but I think it's just great that this forum has a bunch of nice, active people in general. The scripts section is popular for a reason - well it's why I signed up in the first place anyway. It took me a while to start spamming even. D:

Well, to cut a long story short I'm going to (try and) ban myself from the internet for the next ... 6 months. You won't miss me in the meantime.

I will return to do necessary stuff (e.g. beta testing, reading your minds, counting to infinite ) but for the main part I should be gone. HOWEVER - one thing: please, please if you ever catch me here, on MSN, playing osu, existing actively anywhere else on the internet, etc. you have my permission to help me out by ignoring, flaming at, banning, pretending to be my mom, commanding, or nagging me as you see necessary. Actually I'm pretty weak-hearted don't do that.

Neat! That looks like the tree outside my window.

Well, I think it would be cool if you added shades of yellow and red to it, since the ground seems similar in colour to the tree leaves. Just so people don't get too much of an eyesore after a long time.

There are a bunch of microscopic cameras and screens all around his dress, and a computer that calculates which screen and which camera is directly opposite of each other, and thus it can show what is on the other side.

This seems waaaay too much trouble (and no doubt cost) for a mere invisibility function, as Fant reinforced. And it will probably end up being (ab)used by pervs. o_O

I suggest we all turn ninja like Batman or even better...

we just use and invisability cloak that Harry Potter gave us.
