Hello everyone! I have simply decided to update Elf's Diary as a sort of distraction while patiently waiting for Rave Heart's release on steam soon. ^_^ Some people have told me that the gameplay was too easy to exploit, so I have decided to change that at least, and work on some balancing stuff as well, so that the enemies can be more challenging, but not as ultra-hard as the original version. Hope you all enjoy! <3

Remastered 2.5 Changelog:

- Many balance changes which are,
- Spammable aoe spells are no longer exploitable, as their damage output has been decreased by 40%
- Enemies and most especially the bosses have been buffed up a bit, as some players have told me they've become extremely underpowered after the nerfs due to some people stating that the original game was too difficult... Now I've given the bosses some buff in difficulty, but shouldn't be too hard as the original.
- Maximum Action Points have been reduced to 8. (From 10)
- Changed many of the dialogues to sound less "obnoxious" or "vulgar".

Hello! I encountered an error when I tried using one of the skill types. X(



When its one of my party's turn, this error popped up when I entered on one of their ability types. X(

Ohhh! My bad, it wasn't actually the issue because of your new script, KK20! ^^ It was another script that caused that (which I didn't need anymore), and the issue with text spaces disappeared right after.

Btw! I encountered a minor problem KK20, but there seems to be some sort of issue with the word wrapping of some of the text when I put your new script, like the spaces of some text boxes became strangely placed in-game. x(

Hello KK20 and OMG!!! <3 I tried and it works wonders! :O ^_^ Though the texts within the editor still remains the old. But what's important is that in-game, it shows all instances of the old word changed to the new one!

Thank you so much once again, KK20! This is an extremely helpful script when needing to replace certain words but is hard because they're already all over the game! XD

Hello everyone! Is there any way to automatically change all instances of one word/name/term being used within the game automatically?

Like, for example, I wanna change a race name within the game, and it would be quite difficult to manually replace each instance of that race name being mentioned in all texts/events within the game. As I might miss many, and it is also quite a tedious job especially you're already finishing the game. X(

So, is there any way I can make VX ace auto-replace every instance of a certain race name being mentioned into the new name I wanna give it? Thank you so much for any response! <3

While it works great for what I want to do, you will still have to be editing the texts you wanna replace manually. >.< X( Which tbh, is kinda hard when you have like... 544 maps and events already in the game. T_T

Btw, I also wish to specify that what I am looking for is like, I want to literally change the name of a race from my game because it's a very controversial term, so I want every instance of it being mentioned within the game's events/common events and etc. to be replaced with something else... I want to literally make a new name for the race canonically if that makes sense? xD

Rave Heart is finally complete! All that's needed now are further testing and of course, waiting on my documents' approval from Steam. I feel like I am literally dreaming right now! To everyone who has helped me in this game's development; you guys are the best! ^_^

I already have a good and trusted friend beta test the first ever initial completed build of Rave Heart! And I will have to work on the Steam processes first before release! (Not to mention; all of the needed steam files and stuff for achievements and so on.)

Hello everyone! I know this video doesn't show much, but that's the point! XD Im simply here to announce that I have finally finished making Rave Heart's main quest + ending! Now all I have to do is make all the side-quests and side-optional stuff, then unto steam this game goes! Hello everyone! I am so pleased to announce that Elf's Diary Remastered is now released! I've always been thinking about what I can improve more on the game, as I felt quite unsatisfied with this little game's results on it's previous release. So during the weekends, whenever I'm free, I decided to spend 'em reworking a lot of stuff for this game. Thanks also to our very wonderful reviewers, I have updated the game and tried to change every issue I can. The remastered version involves new things like face-sets, battle sprites, music and etc. I'll detail it on the changes below! I hope everyone will enjoy Elf's Diary Remastered, and please don't hesitate to leave your feedback! ^_^ Enjoy!



Changelog:

- Game now runs in 640x480 resolution.

- The game now has "Options" as seen on the system command at the ingame menu.

- All new ingame music (No longer copyrighted stuff).

- Ingame doors now work differently and appropriately.

- New ingame icons!

- Free-action battle system now uses new action points icon.

- Fixed a few typos and tiling errors.

- New static sprite battlers for all playable characters.

- Implemented new face graphics for everyone.

- Removed the Narrator voice at the intro scenes.

Hi all! I know I've been gone and haven't been posting some news about my development of this game as of late! But no worries, I do not intend to stop! ^_^

I was busy with some real life stuff, and I'm also currently working on a collab project with Berry on the RMN Twisted Fairy Tale Event here: https://rpgmaker.net/events/halloween18/ . I'm also very excited to share with you guys this collab project soon as we wil be releasing the game either this Oct. 29 or 30. Then I can start working on Rave Heart once again. xD

Rave Heart is currently on private beta test phase, and I have wonderful and trusted people playing the private beta right now. If you wish to give me the honor of being one of my private beta testers, please do not hesitate to ask! ^_^ With that said, I will no longer be uploading Public demos for download.
