Welcome! / Hello, Again
July 28, 2011, 12:18:26 am
Im not really new here, im just highly inactive. nowadays im pretty active on the internet, so ill be a round a lot more.
Im 19, going in to my second year of college next month. Ive been using rpgmaker since 2007, I think I like XP the most just because of the amount of layers you can add. Ive abandoned about 7 projects in total and ive completed 1. Slowly im reviving each one of my dead projects. Off the internet, i mostly watch netflix, do something school related, or cruise the city. Yep, me. in a text based nutshell.

Disco, you don't need to run it as Admin anymore.
It's a one-time thing, so you can get the nTitles code.

Yea i know, i was wondering if anyone knew a way to cure the lagg issue i was having on the other computers.

Does having a specfic Windows Vista Version (Home Basic, Home Premium for example) affect anything related to RPG Maker's compatibility?

By the way, a convienient method finally spewed out. Great job Aqua. :)

My mother has Home Premium, it runs XP fine after Primission edit. (right click, -> Run as administrator. Compatibility  -> XP SP2)
Course it ask for permission to run every time you run...

My father on the other hand, has an older version of Vista Basic Home. He completely disabled the ask for permission. But it loads slower then my mothers. i think is just a ram issue.

So wait, is this supposed to be kind-of like the maps in ff7?  Kewl. 8)

Yepperz The only Difference i've seen between them and the FF7 maps is that Movement (on mine) is very limited were as in FF7 you can touch every pixel of the playable map.

A bout a 2 months ( more like 5 :^_^': ) ago i shouted that i would draw a playable map for rmxp.....

I DID JUST THAT... it took me about 2 hours in total (Drawing it, Scaning it and Preping it for use with RMXP)
However its only one map and it still needs work. (loads of work)

This will not be a step by step guide.... only a glimpse of my work.

This what i started with...

After I Saw the color i rescanned it as a GrayScale...

As you can tell the GrayScale was smudge and showed error xP so i once again rescanned it as a black and white only...

After Some Erasing, and drawing i came i got this...

Then i determined =what would be a "Game" backround and what would be Blank. Game=red blank = gray

The last thing i did was resize to rmxp and import as a paranorma the red is the transparent...
