Well it's been nearly two years since I was last on, I see things haven't changed much around hear, except that the scripts are getting better and better loke always.

Im unable to get on here almost always, and a few weeks ago RPG Maker XP died on me and I have no way to reinstall and reactivate it. I'm moving on to more complicated programs, and leaving game making to the professionals, it sucks I could even finish my game before it happened. I'm too old for this now anyhow. Oh well. to Admin go ahead and delete my account. Goodbye Chaos Project.

I'm finally back, after more than a year, sad to see that I returned after Blizzard retired. Glad to see that BABS is doing so well. 8)

Sad to say but I got in trouble with the law, and I'm not allowed to use the internet unsupervised, so I got rid of my computer and no longer have RMXP or anything. It was fun while it lasted , I wish I could have at least had a good start on my game. Oh well everything must end. Well maybe I'll come back. Hopefully before Blizzard quits the scene, ( yes, it may be that long!).

actually I use direct hotkeys and bow and arrow settings, you just have to hit the button once that the item is hotkeyed to and then you will be able to attack.

Thanks Blizz, I saw it before but couldn't find it so I made a new one.

What we need:
Def, jmp, idl, atk1 - atk7, run, skl, charge, etc sprite bases
Front attack lances, more swords, swing attack lances,  hammers - attacks in front only (it'd be set as a lance)
Guns, Bows, and the sort.

Here's 001-Fighter01 through 008-Fighter08's _def and _jmp sprites. Pretty much the_jmp sprite Im making is the _def sprite w/o the shield.

@ Lan: Exactly, that is a good point, post poses and the original sprite if not from the Standard RTP.
@ Game: It's definitely a good idea to make sure they work right.

If someone would be so kind as to get me some better shields to work with it would be greatly appreciated (just post them here).

@ Game: a bit of both, original and rtp conversions will be great. We want to create a rtp for BABS in the end.

I've decided to "reactivate" this Topic so we can put the Blizz-ABS RTP together.
First I have a decent Shuriken spriteset that I set up, it's simple and looks great when using it in game.

The _def Sprites are further down, now with their matching _jmp sprites.
I got the shuriken from a icon pack I downloaded, but I can't remember where the download came from.
Thanks to Blizz for his Awesome ABS, his _jmp sprite setup, and other scripts, and everything else (This site in particular)!
We definitely need more weapon sprites: Whips, Bows, Lances, Flails, and guns sprites mainly, and stuff that can fit onto the Standard RTP stuff, and matching Icons.
Original Sprite bases should be posted with their poses!

about the traps thing where it sometimes doesn't show the trap and only it's effect- it seems to happen when you are within it's (the trap's) explosion radius of an enemy. If you aren't within the (trap's) explosion range of an enemy the trap item will show.
@Doris: Hurry up with the "Timed Trap" so I can have working Bombs.

@ Makasu: I don't need mines right now, I am however thinking of making traps that cause status ailments like slow or stop. Of course that means a lot of new sprites that I'll have to create.

About that problem with party members walking directly under the party leader, it seems to happen whenever there are no more enemies on screen and the party members return to the caterpillar, instead of going behind the party leader they go to the exact spot as the party leader. I usually just switch party leaders and move a square or two to fix it and then switch back to my other character.

Hey Blizz can you set it up so that shields work like weapons you know- EX: ICON = Shield 01.png, Shield 02. png; CHARSET = Base_def.png , Base_def-shield 01.png, Base_def-shield 02.png, etc.Because I have three shields on my game and it only shows what you have set with _def that and, even if you don't have a shield equipped it still shows the animation when you press the shield button. If Blizz doesn't have time can someone make a plug-in for it?

EDIT: Thanks Blizz, can't wait until the new version is ready.

@ Blizz - yeah it works either way. Using events can be easier and all, but it is a lot quicker to do it in the script database, once you get the hang of it.
EDIT- I usually use events myself. Using the script is just a suggestion for people that don't want to make too many events. (although it would only take one event, switch, and self-switch.)
